I love Andrew's tutorials. They are each insightful and extremely useful. I am continually learning more and more about After Effects thanks to Video Copilot. My company has purchased quite of few of the bundles as well. They are all magnificent.
As an added bonus, Andrew makes these quite amusing. The double orb joke at the end of the past 3 tutorials is hilarious. I've literally laughed out loud each and every time. I can't wait to continue learning.

Hello Andrew.very nice tutorial, but I got a problem, when I try to create the 3d layers of the spin orb , I "can't see" the back layers.

Nice tutorial can i ask what pc specs you have as you seem to be able to preview very fast? when working with 3d items. my setup is 64gig ram - 6 cores 3.6ghz yet it runs very slow even at quarter view..

Hi! Really great tutorial you have here!! But~ Im stuck.. Once I make a new Camera I can only see my background and text. The Spin Things have disapeared, they are still on my timeline but not on stage... I put in the same Camera settings as the tutorial but it still doesnt work with any camera, Ive tried moving the layers around but it doesnt help :/ Can someone help me?

Whenever I add the CC Radial Blur on the adjustment layer my very bottom BG layer gets caught up too and I can see the transparency behind it, is that fine?

Hey Andrew! Big fan! I love the tutorials! I've learned so much from you! I'm having an issue with this tutorial using the camera when you move forward in z space. I set my keyframes just like you as far as I can tell, but for some reason when I try to ease in to the text, it moves passed the text and element layer in z space, then comes backwards in z space back to the text at my keyframe. I've done everything from trying different kinds of keyframe such and easy ease, easy in and easy out, customizing my graphics editor, and even restarted AE, but the problem wont go away. Any suggestions?

You said "set the time" after you duplicate the orb layers. What do you mean? I have looked through the program and on the internet and cannot find a single thing to what you are referring to or how to do it.

Great Tutorial... having a slight problem though. Whenever I add my adjustment layer and turn up the amount my whole comp gets skewed. I've done exactly what you said but mines completely different! I need that stressball of yours Andrew!!

To my previous comment about the adjustment layer not affecting the BG layer, I discovered that adding the adjustment layer BEFORE the BG layer does not affect the BG layer. Strange. I still don't understand how Kramer is doing it though!

Can someone explain to me how the adjustment layer he uses with the CC Radial Blur does not affect the background layer at the bottom? I know you can just pre-comp the fractal noise layers but how is Kramer doing it? Does he have super After Effect powers of some sort?

One thing, though, I've noticed what seems to be a bug, or maybe it's just me. I'm following the original SureTarget tutorial but I'm using the new version of the preset and for whatever reason when I set the keyframes to Easy Ease (not using the EaseTargets checkbox, but regular AE easy ease) between the first and second keyframe (which are both set to 1) the position of the null jumps from my text's position back to the center of the comp. It does this every few frames and only lasts 1 or 2 frames, so it's like this quick jump effect and I don't like it. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Please, any help would be appreciated.

Hey Andrew - I was at an Angel's baseball game and they used this for a title during the game. Do they have to pay you or anything, cuz it looked like they just downloaded the project file and changed video copilot to angels.

just wanted to say i really admire you, and all the work youve been providing for us... although.. this seems a bit like the latest ayato (http://www.ayatoweb.com/) aurora desktop and sonic wave .. i know the technique is different but maybe you should stick to cinematic techniqs, and let an open gap maybe on the visuals ? xxx luv your work !!!

Great tutorial but I have a problem towards the end. When I create the camera, it shows a black backround and my image is gone. When you create the camera, it shows your image. I followed the exact same steps, how can I fix this?
