Hey Andrew thanks a lot for upgrading after effects for everyone. Somehow I couldn't never use the new override and set Override on the effect, somehow it never find my saves and never apply it. Thanks in advance yaniv

The Control + Spacebar doesn't seem to work with the recent AE update on Mac. Updated this week and I can't get the console to come up. I reinstalled the plugin to make sure.

Hi, Andrew, i like your plugin.
THis is an idea whats happen if you take a shot, and the picture save the values of the plugin, this will be super helpfuly, becouse i can take variotions of my design and i can reload adjustments.

Hmmmm, I just posted about FX console not working in 2020 on High Sierra... as a follow up, I happened to notice that the created and last modified date of the JSX file, installed from the 1.05 installer, is Jan 31 2017, which seems odd. I uninstalled and reinstalled again, and same date. Thought I'd mention it.

I also dearly miss FX console - not working on AE 2020, High Sierra 10.13.6. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 1.05, a few times. changed the shortcut. no idea why, just nothing happens regardless of shortcut. Works fine on other similar systems. Thanks!

Is FX Console broken for CC19? It will not see any of my user-defined presets even though they are in the proper location. I know I'm not the only one with this issue.

It would be very great if you could save all layers and their settings into gallery too. So you could jump to older design from gallery. Something like visual undo history

AWESOME. But is it possible to make it available for Premiere Pro too though? I know it's probably more useful in After Effects because of more stuff you have to find. But I just thought it would be so useful to use in Premiere Pro too. So why not add it for both, not just after effects. And I know you play just after effects from what I have seen, but this is just a suggestions though. It would be so much more helpful that way.

This is the best all-around thing you guys have ever done. It has completely changed my workflow. After a day of using it I just closed the effects and presets window and didn't need to open it ever since. great job!

Override don´t work in the german version of AE cc 2018 he can´t find the User Presets "Documents\Adobe\After Effects CC 2018\User Presets"

Thanks! Cool plugin. I'm a bit surprised it's not integrated with E3D atm. For starters I'd love to make screenshots while modelling from within Element, but I'm sure it could have lot's of other possibilities. Any plans for some integration?

I tried installing the FX Console on MAC OS X High Sierra with Adobe CS 6 and after the install CTRL + SPACE does not call anything. Any advice to provide to get this work on a mac with CS6?

Thanks works perfectly, it doesn't show under effects/video co-pilot but pressing Ctrl and space loads it up. Great work .

Not working here either on a Win7 64 system running CS6. I run the installer and chose custom and initially select the plug-in option. It finishes installing but in AE nothing is listed. Try the installer again but choose the Script path and it finishes. Launch AE again and still nothing in the FX list but FX Console is listed under Window dropdown and it launches the UI, but the icons only blink or say what they're for if hovering except the right most blue one.
Looking back at how long this has been out, it's odd that so many are just now having issues and on different platforms and AE versions.

Great little utility. I've used it a lot on my latest project. A couple of things that would be really great:
1)ability to use it to apply preset expressions to parameters. (So for instance I hit ctrl-space and type "loop" and it will give me a bunch of loop expressions)
2) ability to use it to apply effects to mutiple layers at once

This plugin is such a time saver! I have encountered an issue with the preview capture involving an alpha. There is often an edge problem when exporting it as a png on Mac. Any ideas for a fix?

Hi when i use my Nvidia Geforce GT 750M the interface of FX console blinking, I liker to added this to my workflow like E3D but I cant to use both in the same time. any solution or I need to wait some update?

Oh - and would be nice to have an option for the search box to always appear in the centre of the screen, I often find myself looking around for it. And if possible, make the shortcut more sensitive - at the moment I have to hold it down momentarily until the search box appears, where as all other shortcuts (e.g. Spotlight on Mac) are instantaneous. Again, just a couple of tiny things but think they would make a big difference. Thanks again! Dom

Hi Andrew, thanks for this amazing plugin! Absolutely loving it, and Im sure it will speed my work flow up.
However, one thing that would be great is if I could select all text in the search field using 'CMD+A' on a Mac. It seems that I have to use 'CTL+A', like on a PC. Its a small thing but since using it I keep forgetting and is quite frustrating. I realise it is a free plugin, so I don't want to sound ungrateful! It really is great!

For some odd reason I install the plugin but am unable to use cmd+space to open the fx console. It automatically opens spotlight search for mac. How do I properly install it so I can use it on after effects?

Even if you store shortcuts,
It will be reinstated again

Hey Andrew,
Does anyone have trouble once you save a preset, finding that preset in FX console. I created and saved an animation preset, search in Console, and it was not there. However If I search in the Effects & Presets it is. Once I restart AE, I can find it FX Console.
Im on a mac, not sure if this happens on PC or not.

Feature Request: When saving a screenshot, save the effects-network as well so that you can import the "screenshot" and it will apply it like a full composition with the effects-network and settings all intact

First of all - Great plugin! Very very helpful! There were however three things I've noticed to be buggy right off the top:
1. When you save a preset, it has to be saved in:
applications/after effects cc 2017/presets/
however the default location for after affects user presets is:

2. You have to restart After Effects before fx console will find it in a search.
3. Pressing thumbnail cache: [ clear ], doesn't seem to do anything.

Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

Seems to Crash with the german Version of AE. Worked until i restarted, switching to engish seems to fix it.

Just one thing I'd like to point out is, it seems it's not working on non-English AE. It crashes when I type "Le" as Levels on console, due to language issues.
