I downloaded the projectfiles => no Window Water Drops and no Bloodsplatter.
So i purchased the HD Action Essentials => no Window Rain inside as shown online.

Thats a tad unpleasing because one cannot complete the Lessons fully without having that Content.
Would be nice, Mr. Kramer, if you a) upload the files like promised and shown in the videos

or

put the files in the propper products. I love them and i bought some but i feel a tad upset for this kind of false infos.

Please provide the files or some similar ones to use for the ppl who like to learn your lessons.

Did i miss something? Where can i get the Window Rain keyed Footage and why do i pay 99 Bucks and its NOT inside after getting hot from the video?

Hey guyz, I hope some1 can help me with this. I want to do the same thing as in this example (take example, lightningstrike -> instant explode)but I ran into trouble when I create the empty spot (the point in wich the rectangle tool comes in). The reason for this is, that the camera is moving, and not standing still. Has anyone got a solution for this? Could it be down with tracking, and if so, how should I take it on?

Hope some1 can help me.

Maybe it is because I have so many trees in my shot, but I am having a lot of trouble getting these darker clouds in the background without having a horrible halo around the branches. its like it only looks good if i make the clouds about the same shade as the light spill on the branches. AH help me.

Better late than never.

I was having the same problem so I didn't make the Matte like Andrew did but instead I used Colorama with a gray ramp, it gives you a much better control. IIRC this technique is explained in 42. "Advanced Sky Replacement".

After that just play with the footage's curves until the halo is completely gone. If you have any issues with parts of Sam skin disappearing then simply rotoscope/rotobrush the Matte (make them black) so they don't blend.

hi...these tutorials are very cool..maybe the coolest one..actually your every tutorial deserve to be said like that...anyway my point is that if there was a blood splatter effect on the camera lens as in the first video which is shown at the beginning of the video(with blur or something you used(i dont know)),it would be perfect..i think you miss that Andrew or you think that it's very easy to do that..maybe for you but for me,its a bit challenge..i hope and i wish that you will launch a short tutorial or something about it...we all love you man,you're our hero..keep up the good work..

it is Nice.....but people don't just blow off and disappear just like that....there should be bigger fragment or chunk of body piece lying on the floor ....don't u think so......

Like the suicide tutor, the body without the head should be lying on the ground after the suicide ........thought that it will really make it more realistic and convincing

the first time i visisted by myself in search of quality and comparison betweenthe effcts used and created in maya and affter effect, but i need to say it really impressive, and would like to have suggestions that the effects created by maya is more quality driven and works on actual visualization in our mind or affter effect output.
i shall be very much thankful for this reply.

Great tut...Should have had Sam holding a trash can that was suspended for just a sec after he was blasted then falling to the ground. (Sam taking the trash out in a lightning storm seems like a pretty believable scene.) Great stuff....Action Essentials II just came in the mail Friday... Woooooo!

Very nice tutorial Andrew. Thanks a lot. Especially creating the rain and the tint of the footage was very helpfull for a bunch of projects im doing. Great colors and pretty dark feel to the scene. Its not the theme you do a tutorial on in general but the way you get there makes people learn so much of the possibilities in AE! In just a couple of month i have learned so much because of your tutorials! By the way i really liked the scene where sam blows up immediatly with the first strike. The most realistic to me!
