Well things have NOT stopped behind the scenes here at Video Copilot we are still working on amazing things. The Action Essentials 2 HD collection just needs a few more gas explosions to make it complete, I'll let you know when that is ready. What makes this product tricky is that we need to have the elements complete so we can make tutorials and the promo video with a finished feature list and information.

In other news, we have built a new download system to improve our customer experience that is just being tested and should be ready to launch soon. It will make downloading and accessing purchases easier and faster.

I have the soft shadows 3D tutorial recorded (3d max) and now I'm just trying to find time for the After Effects portion. I've also developed a separate tutorial for a similar effect done only After Effects, this includes a few other cool tips as well. Then on Tuesday, I'm shooting a scene for a quick tutorial to improve difficult fight scenes.

Hahahahahaha............I'm sure that is the worst fight scene ever! I want to say even my dad and I watch it on TV when I was a kid.....sad thing is I probably thought way back then, "Oh no, is he gonna make it!?"

When will come 3d shadow tutorial and will it be for 3d max cinema 4d or blender...Please make a one tutorial when you use blender beacuse other programs are too expencive.

When will Capt. Kirk learn? Never, ever use a back leg round kick on cheap aliens. They'll see it coming from a mile away. Even when using backlot discount costumes. Use a front leg kick. It much quicker.

Hey Andrew all sounds good. Though I'm a little apprehensive about the fight improvement tutorial. As a martial artist, actor and director I have a lot of experience in shooting, directing and taking part in fight sequences as well as working with professional choreographers and stuntmen (one of which was in both Gladiator and green street)and i feel there really is no substitute to having a well planned, well thought out and well choreographed fight using skilled fighters and actors. though with the amount of great stuff coming from video copilot I'll trust you for now and sit back and look forward to the tutorial.

I would lice to see tutorial about some cool active camera movement during fighting scenes^^
And also some unique fighting effects(imo bullet time is starting to be boring and overused)^^
