Hey Andrew Kramer, I have a Little issue with Depht of Field inside of Element 3D. After Effects just crahes when I activate it. I have a really beastful Workingstation with a 2080 Ti and 32 Core CPU.

Hi Andrew, I got the Great Vibes font and Installed it, but when I was trying to use it AE it doesnt display correctly but when I type it on MS word it displays correctly. please help

I have extruded a logo which I copied the paths from photoshop into Element 3D v2. It seems fine except that the surface on the sides has got a line and its not smooth. How do I make the surface smooth in Element 3D v2?

Hi,
you have great tutorials and plugins. I was looking at the twitch plugin but I cannot locate the 7 tutorials for it. I only get the demo page with an overview; http://www.videocopilot.net/assets/public/flash/products/twitch/twitchdemovideo/
I wanted to ask if the TWITCH makes these black vines/wires grow, in that green sewer room (10 seconds into the demo reel for it) or is this another plugin and which is it? This is my main question. The other is where can I locate the 7 tutorials. This link has 5 thumbnails but they all load the same 9MB mov file that is not tutorial; https://www.videocopilot.net/products/twitch/tutorials/

I love Element 3d(version 1), I've been using it on and off for a while since I bought it. But I'm working with a text animation right now, with lights, rotation, etc. everything shows visible until I hit RAM preview or render the video, then everything shows up but the animated text. Looked repeatedly, watched a few videos on-line, can't figure it out. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME???

this plugin is simply amazing for this 3d text i started from scratch and when i move to "Scene Setup" and extrude my text is extruded but only stroke fill is totally blank i have used different fonts and tested everything but no success. can you help me fix this.

Can't find rotation tool in my version of 3d Element. Is this a new version because the interface looks different and I don't see any toold on the bottom left of the screen. Also the plane and the text don't show at the same time. Thanks in advance

When I change the diffuse color to black and turn the reflectivity up to 100% it doesn't turn chrome. It is just jet black. Followed every step until then exactly as shown in the video. Any idea why it doesn't look the same?

hey guys, when i make something in element 3d , it seems to be awesome textured and super looking but after clicking "ok" it seems like its quality got lost plz help i am new on after effect and learning it from ur videos, thanks to your work .

My "Classic" is really pixelated compared to his. Does anyone know why this seems to be? I've done everything he has done and it looks great in scene setup but when I hit ok the classic text just doesn't look right.

Check the Element 3D 'Output' settings are on 'Full Render' (last setting below 'Render Settings'
and the 'Resolution Down Sample Factor' is on Full. That is below the view window after the color options and before the camera popup. On the bar below where you see everything/stage.

sir, i did every step of this tutorial...but when i add a diffuse color to the planes bevel and increased its reflection intensity to 100% it turns black...neither does it shine nor it reflects.. i tried changing the environment but of no use .. could you help me with it

i cant see both, plane model and text, in my preview. Either the text or the plane are shown if i select one

I go thru the tutorial when I click okay in "scene setup" nothing shows up in the composition just a blank screen and the E3D layer is visible HELP

I am completely new at this. I bought these plug ins and have followed the tutorial but when I go to scene setup there is no 3D plane or text appearing. I know I am missing something but cant figure it out. If there is another tutorial to get me up to speed I'd be happy to watch it. Great stuff!

Nice tutorial and Metal FX, but the only part missing here is that it doesn't show how to animate it, either using the camera or in the 3D environment window

I'm having an issue when I add a plane. I can't seem to have both my text and plane layer visible at the same time. Am I missing something? Is that something you can only do in Element Version 2? I am still using Version 1

Spherical reflect mode on the text does absolutely nothing. I get no red reflection whatsoever; nothing changes at all.

Hey Andrew, I find it very concerning that in order to actually do any of these tutorials I have top practically empty my whole wallet...another thing that is wrong with America and all your other tutorials. Is it even possible for me to do this without the element plug-in?? I did all of this and then I found myself at a dead end.

I know this might be a stupid question, but I would like to use the camera to start inside a letter and then pull out to reveal the whole word. Can I do that, and if I can, how do I go about doing it? Still quite new to AfterEffects, though I shouldn't be! Thanks for the tutorial, too, by the way.

This effect looks incredible but I'm trying to have a nice 3d layer with the chrome but add a handwriting stroke effect and dont know how to do that since the White Solid is a 2D layer with 3D objects in it. I've tried a few options and nothing has worked yet. PLEASE HELP

Probably one of the most basic questions, but: how can i delete the duplicated bevel in this tutorial. I just found nothing in the E3D interface to do it…. i can only delete the entire extruded model…

Really great tutorial. I think Element 3D v2 is now a must for anyone even remotely connected to motion graphics. I'd like to see the VC guys creating some demo ads for products using E3D (e.g., a box of chocolates where the lid of the box opens and the chocs are dropped into place or an nVidia graphics card emerges from it's packaging). Boundaries are being pushed with each tutorial, great work guys.
