Andrew your tutorial is fantastic But When we want to do some think like your tutorial we cant get your result.You make Rain and I do some think like you But my result is terrible its like some worm on the screen

Aah yes i remember the good old Mr Mercury rain trick, it did look awesome like ten years ago, ill be using your new method for the next ten years

Is it possible to recreate the Rain Drop FX in Cs 5.5? The downloaded project file does not work in this version. This is an awesome effect, I just would hate to have to upgrade software to do it.

i open the project file in After effect cs 6, it can't be opened because the project file is created in version 14.0.1. can you solve this problem??

I just recently got into graphics/animation and watching your tutorial was really helpful. I didn't know that it was possible to create your own rain and it's really amazing how easily you did it. My goals is to eventually do what you do. Thank you for the tutorial!!!! <3333

try to do it with a bit different resolution (1080) and it doesn't look good at all.
Can't barely see the rain and it's not smooth, its like a sharp rock.
Anyone know where to do the different adjustment to make it look more like the tutorial? I must miss something.

Amazing! The only difference with reality is that the moving drops in fact combine and fuse with the drops they meet on their way down ...Sometimes even kinda snap together. But who cares? Nevertheless awesome !

Could you please do a tutorial on an underwater effect? Could you shoot a video in a room and make it look like a scene from an underwater, is it possible? Or in a garden for example and make it look like it's been shot underwater? Thank you in advance if you decide to do it ^_^

What's missing from Element 3D is the ability to create explosions like fumefx in 3ds Max... Perhaps you can think about it when building the nest version of Element 3D.

I was looking for an effect like this for a project i have to deliver today. So i remembered hey Andrew has this old shitty tutorial I can use! Imagine my surprise when i got to VC homepage and saw this new tutorial!

As always this a great stuff! I can get to the CC Glass effect but once I drop the Softness to 0 it just becomes like a pencil drawn outline! Still working on it. Greetings from Virginia!!

Following everything to the T, but when I click on collapse transformations, nothing happens. It does not snap to the original size making it extremely difficult to move them around. I am using After Effects CC 2015. Any ideas?
