Get yourself a copy of 'classroom in a book' for instance. The one for ae7 had a broadcast theme in a lesson or two..

I'm using Sony MDR-7506 - couldn't be happier with any headset for this $$$ range - I think.. Fit my head and ears as I like it, and the sound roars at me.

I have Sennheiser HD650 over-the-ear ones that I use for mixing my band's audio, which are pretty great, but I'm new to video and I'm getting pressure to sell them while they're still worth $400+ (if you're married you'll understand these "pressures").
What do you folks use? Andrew, what do you use? And what would you recommend for somebody like me - 30% rock music mixing, 40% iTunes listening, 30% video scoring - oh, and 100% looking like a dude-version of Princess Leia while I'm wearing them.

man I want to have this so badly. I'm only 17 but in the last few years been doing some very hard video work (premiere and after effects)...
