ALL DESIGN TOOLS
The new site is almost ready to be launched, should be a lot of fun so be ready for that. Also this week I will be releasing 2 new tutorials with some crafy subject matter. The T-Shirt design contest is over and judged, what is holding up the process is the short-run production of the shirts to make sure the graphics look correct before we show them to you. We want to show you the final shirts when they come in. Stay tuned for that and much more.

That's not two different things the same week.
It's (1) "There will be 2 new tutorials this week." and (2) "there's a new website design that will be up when it's ready..."
I know English can be tricky at times, but ease up on AK folks.

Last I heard was the 20th as well. I don't know why so many are expecting a change now. Maybe I missed something?

If I remember right, Andrew said the new site would launch on the site's anniversary. So I think the site will come the 20th... I may be wrong though...

First off, this is my post at videocopilot.net and would like to thank Andrew and the crew for all the great tutorials. I didn't know where else to post this so here goes.
With the mention of the launch of the new site, a thought came to me. I don't know how difficult this would be or even if Andrew has the time to do something like this, but I think having bi weekly or monthly (what ever time frame works best) mini challenges would be interesting. These challenges would allow us to use we have learned here at VCP in "real life like" projects (eg new station intro, short commercial, kinetic type pieces). I think this would allow us put our new skills to the test. I know there are some hardened vets out there but there are also newbie users that still trying to catch up or get reacquainted with video and motion graphics (I'm on the newbie side).

I don't know where to post this but I just discover your site and I'm amaze, not your gifted talent but of what you are doing right now. It's very hard to find sites like this(well for me) and I'm glad I found yours. Hope you keep it uncommercial

well... i work designing T-shirts over 10 years (no, i'm not in the contest)... some options in the contest are really difficult to do without high prices, especially for us who lives in another country ^^

Wait - did someone on this forum say 3d motion tracking? Ahhhh I just downloaded Icarus. Please tell me you know how to do this in AE. If so, you are apparently not human. Can AE even do it?

Great to hear we have some goodies to see this week. I know they will be excellent, as they always are. I'll bet it was hard to judge the t-shirt contest. There must have been hundreds of entries. I can't wait to see the design/designs you chose.
