Very Frustrated. I have tried and tried multiple times on the part where you make the indentation. Put the invert in, Put the fast blur in, set blur radius and every single time it produces a bulge effect not an indentation, what am I doing wrong here. I like this effect but it is not working for me at all.

Strange...inner glow doesn't show up, lights are moved together with tracking point...are you alt clicking on Bevel layer when editing or just double clicking?

I've followed your steps to the letter and it doesn't look as good as yours at all, even when I've used the exact same numbers 
I suppose it still looks okay though... Is it to do with when you zoom in and out? Because I didn't do that all the way through...

I was waiting for the Decay effect in the RED letters and he just explained it in few seconds at the end. I'm totally lost trying to get that effect and change the colors properly, someone who did it and can help?

It was working great until it was completely messed up when adding the fractal noise, I got an error and now all blending modes are missing. Please help, Thanks.

Please could you do a tutorial on the blood oozing effect. I'm attempting a title sequence for a client and they want the Moss FX style howether a more liquid type substance and the blood example looks perfect. I'm guessing it's the same Steps howether a different effect to that of the Cell Pattern? Been trying for ages to correct the title howether can't find a solution.

I wonder if something like this could be done with real footage of an object...was thinking of aging an electric guitar and amp for a music video. Maybe start with a 3D model instead of shooting the real thing?

Hello,
I went through the whole tutorial and it turned out really well. The only issue I am having is with movement of the logo or title. The bevel stays in place while the title moves, so it doesn't look like one object. Is it possible to move the bevel with the title?

Having issues with the Fractal Noise part of the tutorial. The noise shows up behind the type with in the DECAY comp when put in the DECAY Bevel comp. I have gone Back and followed it step by step several times and i get the same result.

Cyrus here, long time fan since probably 2008. I just wanted to take the time to ask you if there is anything you can say about the future of Element 3D. I don't know about the consensus. But for me personally, it has drastically changed my workflow and has enabled me to take on more task simultaneously while still pushing the boundaries of what's feasible inside the software.

90% of all the renders you see here are from e3d. Some of the scenes are of course set up in c4d. but I tend to always do my final render in e3d. For speed, ease of balancing/composition and the ability to seamlessly work with a layered/composition via Z passes.
I use Cinema 4d for modelling/setups/animations. But almost all of my final renders are out of E3D. Even though I appreciate 3rd party render plugins such as Octane. None have quite matched the seamless and satisfactory workflow I have from working in 3D inside of Ae.
I do hope you won't discontinue the plugin but instead continue to develop it. I can't wait for a 3.0 version to blow our minds further and to help after effects work alongside 3D software even better than before.

So good. I have a question about this - and other similar tutorials in fact where you are creating 3D objects in a way that you're "faking" 3D. Is it not in theory possible to create actual 3D texts within say element 3D without so many steps?

Anyone in the community or at VC know of where we can find the "Lift, Paint, Plaster, and Concrete," textures used in the final RED comp at the end of this? Even something similar would be useful. Cant seem to get that style using the supplied textures.
