Visualization Experiment and new Renders

Just playing around with a new After Effects experiment without using any 3rd Party plug-ins! I need to refine some parts of the effect but I really want to make a tutorial for it ASAP!

Here are some other projects you may have missed! Using Element 3D bump mapping to create some Gold coins and building a reactor!

Visualization! No 3rd party Plugins! #Aftereffects

it's a great article, thank you for sharing
very nice post
I hope everything is ok. Whether thats the VC business or family! Hopefully you'll be back soon.
Just want to say thanks for helping me get my dream job by using your plugins/tutorials over the last couple of years. Without them I would have been swallowed up and my creativity would have gone a different direction. Instead I am now a Live Graphics Animator working across multiple multi-national companies from the UK.
Can we have more tutorials on ELEMENT 3D ..! if possible.
You know it's been while since you uploaded any tutorial explaining new technique and really cool stuff like the render you post on Instagram.

Hey Andrew! Cool stuff.. I wanted to ask you if there might be some upgrades to Saber in the future? I was thinking it would be really awesome if we could maybe apply some different materials to it, like a paint stroke for example. Just a thought cause I really love that plug in!!

Ok..so the best i can figure is a waveform on an animated mask and faux 3d effect. But that still doesnt give me the same 3d effect you are using.

I'm sorry to say, but the black phone gets lost on the black background. There doesn't seem to be a point of having it if you can't see it, because as it is, it looks like the stuff on the screen just sort of floats about on a black background and doesn't look good.
Thanks for the comments Jardine, sadly compression on Youtube if under 1080p does massively impact the visibility of the phone outlines. If watching on mobile device it's true too of screen brightness being around half way up - appreciate the feedback.

One thing you need to be mindful of when creating promos for the web is that there will always be compression.

With that in mind try and foresee issues like this and take artistic steps to counter them (a slight black to darkish grey gradient could help it pop a touch perhaps?)

You know the stuff, Andrew.

Very cool stuff, but you know what would be even cooler: a tut on how one can INTERCEPT all these light beams, energy waves and water drops.
There was no RECENT TIP on that but I love the CREEP TINT you used in that last still you've made. Anyway for now I'll just ERECT my PINT and hen I'll go buy a new TENT but the PRICE kills me...I'll need to save every CENT PER IT and then even PERCENT IT.
Cheers bro.

Hi Paolo,
The 'haze' is probably the built in fog feature of Element 3D. The light bleeding onto the bottom (adding to the misty look) is most likely a feathered mask on a light blue solid set to add.

Wayne
