Presenting NAB 2015 in Las Vegas!
March 31st, 2015

If anyone is planning to go to NAB in Las Vegas, I'll be presenting at the Adobe booth! This year I only have time to do a single presentationso grab some lunch and then go to the Adobe Booth!

2pm on April 14th

Hi! I'm a post prod artist and motion graphics artist as well and I admit I happen to be one due to Andrew Kramer. Andrew, had sparked an interest in me, for being a technician and network admin for years, but watching his tutorials made me switched professions. Anyways, I happen to be curious about one special effect, since Andrew created much explosions and destruction, he never really made a tutorial about how to make an explosion reflection. To see what I am talking about, please watch the Season 2 Episode 17 of Major Crimes. i have a couple of ideas, but it's still interesting how would Andrew create such.thanks.

When i render queue, my file becomes large size, even if i use small sized file e.g 23MB after rendering i get 670MB without adding any effect.

How to you set a 3d object to be a replicator shape?? (array may be the other term).

In element V1 you simply clicked an icon next to your 3d model in the scene set up. There is no such icon in Element V2??

I was your die hard fan. I was an engineering student but some what enthusiastic about visual effects. Since I was a student there is no possibility of learning VFX in any institute, but I have learned after effects with the help of your training tutorials. I worked on the Livestream handpainted sign with NoEntry Design, and we ended up coming through for Green Valley with a fresh painted backdrop. I was really looking forward to seeing Andrew's presentation at the Adobe booth, but my friends and I had a camping trip in the desert that was calling our names. The drone exhibit was really interesting as well. Glad to see Adobe linked up with the awesome team at Livestream as well. I'll catch you at NAB 2016!

Hey guys, I'm having troubles while importing a OBJ Sequence, it's a RealFlow simulation, if I import one OBJ it's ok, but if I try to import as a OBJ Sequence does not show anything, not even try to calculate, it's that possible? Any advice?

OK, so what's the deal with not being able to generate a World Position Matte with an environment Map in 2k or greater images ??? Error the GPU can not handle a layer that size. Is there going to be an Element 3D update to fix this? or are we going to have to only work in 1920x1080 if a World Pass is Needed...

His last few tuts are done with E3D v2, you'll just have to watch them and figure it out I guess. His Promo reels for V2 are also a good thing to watch again if you need too.

Just like GSG and Andrew would tell us, play around with features. Don't just re-create tutorials. I still have Element 3D V1, but I still play around with it here and there. You'll never know what you're going to get out of it.

CS6 was After Effects version 11. There have been two versions of AE released since then. CC was version 12 and CC 2014 was version 13. It is unlikely that Adobe will be announcing CS7 as that would be a weird step back. However, it is very likely that they will announce an update to the CC line since their booth lists some "What's new in After Effects" sessions.
