Spinning Out of Control!

Here is another weekend experiment using various radial effects inside of After Effects. It's actually a combination of many simple techniques with masks but I playing with it, I think there are some interesting tips that I encountered that just might require a short tutorial. It's like the green Iron Man!

After days of struggling, endless waiting for the tutorial, I ended up with the same effect. Because I'm waiting for the jetpack, I don't"t want the site to be attacked, so here is the trick:

Venetian Blinds, Polar bear, slim rectangle mask and play around with the settings. Multiple layers (lots of them) will do the trick.

That was simply amazing and very well informative. Very nice T.V. quality production style. Keep up the good work. My suggestion: Break it up into small tutorials... OH! and explosions. Every video should have explosions. OH! and guns. And you can't forget the hot chicks. And a spoon, a bowl, a banana?... you can't forget the banana. Some cherry ice cream, sprinkles, a shoe, a vacuum, some guys dog (doesn't matter who's, just find a guy, take it and run!). A 2003 Honda Civic with three of the four wheels missing. A shirt from that guy you stole the dog from. And knee high socks.

After you have all those ingredients. Find a magician, spit in his face, turn around three times, throw everything up in the air and BOOM! instant Youtube.

Well, it looks amazing. I didn't know about it, but from now on it's an options. Maybe in future projects it would help for maps we must have.

hi andrew, i have a question for you on the eye replacement. When i did all the motion tracking, edit target, apply, linked to null object and did the colored adjustment, when i did the first few marks masked it was smaller size but when the clip zoomed in and the eye got biger then i adjust the masking size to be bigger then the first few masking size does get bigger. Is the any setting that i need to know?

Andrew, you're awesome at designing FAST and cool animation,,, Wicked and Shocking,,, you rock!! but i wonder if you could make SLOW and pretty animation, that you could SHOW the effects or HD quality graphic(which you mastered lol). with kramer style, i know you can make it cool !!
maybe the video would be a lot longer than this, but i guess you could watch it over and over again without getting bored but satiesfied !! *just a thought i had...

A lot of the textures I think are actually formed from masks. Certainly you could use images, but you can create something cool without it

Wouldnt it be logical if you have such questions that you just have one go and look around on the website for some information other then just tutorials??? Just dropping questions without clicking 2 or 3 pages seems so unappreciative....

See the Contact page and meet Bryan Burkhardt. He's the music producer in the VC Team and i'll bet he has got something to do with the sounds and music you hear over here......
