Daughter number two is here!
September 25th, 2009

Well my other top secret project is out :) This morning my wife and I greeted our new daughter Emily Jordan Kramer at 12:12 am. Weighing in at 6 pounds 11 ounces she is sweet and healthy. I'll keep you posted.

Wow, I've never seen so many comments! Thanks everyone for your kind words, I'll try to get a picture up soon. I'm at the office today for a bit and I'm going to try and squeeze in a tutorial too. All the Best!

Some advice from a grandpa: Schedule time for your wife and child(ren)-- give their time priority over the rest of your schedule. Time passes much more quickly than you can ever imagine at your age. The older you get the faster it moves (I'm at the stage where 10-year chunks fly by!) You don't get another chance to do life over, and looking back, time devoted to your family is the one thing you will always wish you had done more of. I wish you all the best in your life. I am profoundly grateful for the quality tutorials you have given us (even if you say that you did it to give us AE proficiency in order that we may then lust after your products). Brilliant all around! Thanks, Andrew!

One more thing (to put on your future tutorial calendar, if you wouldnt mind), the 3D cutout tutorial that you had done (Virtual 3D Photos), There is a process that CW Kids uses to do pop-up type 3D MG on their promos between shows (Saturdays 8-12p [Eastern] & Pacific too I guess). I really would appreciate (and I am sure the rest of the VC universe would also), a thorough tutorial on how the effect is actually done. I used the Tito tut with my own elements and tried to move the camera to various degrees, as well as using different apertures but didnt seem to get it. Your help will be most appreciated. Now go feed Emily, your wife needs a break!!

@cookiedough: This is Andrew's business, his site, his tutorials and his blog. If you don't like the way he does things, go somewhere else. Jesus! You're getting all this for free and you're still moaning because you don't like Andrew's sense of humour? Maybe you're agoraphobic or anti-social and so such things are disturbing for you. If so, I really do feel sorry for you. Maybe you should get a puppy, call it frank. Teach it fetch, take it for walks, have some candle lit dinners with him, dress him up in clothes and take him to meet your parents. It probably won't help your personality disorder, but it'll give you something to do other than moaning.

The best way to learn is when you're actually enjoying what you're being taught. Andrew's jokes and sense of humour keep his tutorials fresh and interesting. If you just want instructions with no personality or humanity, pay some money for a book and you can read how to get from A-B-C without having to worry about getting distracted by things like humour or personality.

Well done Andrew, very happy for you.
