Aerial Clouds

Since creating the Earth Zoom tutorial back July 2007, I have always wanted the clouds to look more realistic. Although the fractal noise was a decent solution, nothing compares to the real thing. Recently on my travels, I was able to capture some images that might just be the solution to a better earth zoom. I actually shot them with the intention of sharing them here.
Obviously I travel by cape.

SWEEEEEEET!!!!! I tried to get some nice aerial shots on my last flight to phoenix but of course i had a wing seat

Can't wait for AE2. BTW AK I have used some of your techniques to creat some interesting designs and a local production house stole them. They won't hire me but they'll steal crap. GRRRRRRR

Just a little side note. Last time I was traveling I asked the stewardess if I can leave my gps on. She said she has to ask the pilot. After she came back and said that the pilot asked what a gps is and why I want to use it in the plane, I got a little concerned.

the cool thing is, when you travel by cape you can use all electronic devices like you want!

Also, it might just be because I'm tired, but the clouds kind of look like snow- with the blue of the sky looking like a shadow.
It's just like that one picture with the old lady and young girl, except this is with clouds and snow.... so yea not at all the same.
