The project file are here for download, but in version 6.5, which AE 2018 or 17 wont attempt to open, too old, can someone open it with a CS version of AE and re-post?
Steve

No help at all .. cos you start with what me and several others here are trying to create ..

You have the original old film to begin with !

Where can we find this please.
Marian Oprea

Hey, on the upper left somewhere you have a red button with "project file" text o it. Press it to download files used in the project and there you have it... hope that's what you were asking for ... have a nice day!

What was the point of duplicating the bride footage? All you're doing is increasing the size of the file. All your adjustments are on that one layer, making the bottom layer not needed.

The video is great in explaining masks and transfer modes and all, but there is one thing that should be made clear - "authentic" does not necessarily mean it is aesthetically pleasing. When you say "You can't get any more authentic then that", it does not mean that the film can't look better.

Andrew i have a question about some strange thing in my notebook (newbie question pearhaps...)

Take a look in this image capture of first frame on original downloaded MOV from this page please.

http://villasweb.com/testes/file_original.jpg

Can you see something like interlced desincronization or what ?? Is it normal?
...or Someone can explain please?

All my DV videos apears like that.

Thanks in advance

Mark
To loop the 8mm right click the file in project, go to interpret footage => Main

at the bottom it says loop X times.
set that to 100 to get 8 minutes.

or just take your run time and divide by 8 for the number of loops.

I cant help it, have to bigup s'more...

Andrew, if more people in the world were as generous with their time in providing such absolute amazingly detailed instructions on other things people struggled to learn, the world itself would be full of artists.

So many people I know have the gift, but not the ability to show it. You are providing so much for people who CAN but were hindered someway.

Of all the applications I've tried, from music production to 3d-cad apps, no-one has provided as much for so little by way of example.

You win the internet, dude !!!!!

I used some of this for my video.

Excellent results using the multiply key right in Premiere 2.0

I also got an old film projector sound effect and record crackling sound effect to heighten the feel. Also, midway through I used a higpass filter to give it that extra nasally old microphone feel from the early 'talkies' ALl and all, and accomplishment I'm quite proud of, so check it out and comment if you would!
