I've been learning to use the programs in the Adobe Master Collection and you are by far one of the best teachers and video effect developers I've seen. Much appreciated!

It would seem that a good amount of what is being done here is taken care of by just ticking the "continuous rasterization/collapse transformations" box, no?

I'm not sure what sets this approach apart from that. Am I missing something?

Hello, I have a basic AE 3d using layers. I have multiplied the layer to give it depth. I used your script (Amazing) but is is possible to save this comp then add it to additional comps and utilize the same camera for all? In other words comp 1 is a multiple layers that resemble a table. Comp 2 is a box, could I use the script for the table and a separate comp for the box and set the box on the table controlling both with the same camera? Any help would be appreciated.

You are amazing.
Firstly, I've always wondered how to get around that issue with pre-comps and 3D! This is just.. Fantastic!

I love all of your tutorials and this is very helpful with the work I have to achieve! Happy days! So thankyou!

Thank you Andrew and Video Copilot!!! This script is a real time-saver, and I was in the process of writing my own when yours came along. Needless to say, I eagerly switched over to using your script.

Request: It would be even more awesome if you could augment your script to make references to Element Group Nulls as well. Right now, it does not handle them at all.

Particular. It's the name of the layer on the timeline & also the effect visible in the effects window when the 'Particular' layer is selected.

I need to watch this again - but one thing I'm wondering is... couldn't some of this be solved with simply using the collapse transformation switch? That allows all your precomposed 3d layers to be affected by lights and cam in the comps.

Andrew (or anybody else who knows), I'd love to know how to build pop-up windows for scripts, but I haven't been able to find any good info online. Any chance you would do a tutorial on that? Or can you point me to a good reference?

Thanks!
