Earlier this year I had the chance to work on 10 Cloverfield lane, on this horrifying matte painting and composite. Manyimage-searches for road kill have scarred my mind! As always it was a pleasure to work withDan Trachtenberg.
Hi Andrew, I really love all your inspirational work and have learned so much from your tutorials however this is not for me. Sorry...

Really? Well, I find it so inspirational. Keep in mind that you too, as a compositor, could be asked to do whathever, including gore stuff

Fair point Daniel. I don?t disagree however I simply don?t like this and hope that this is not the direction that VC will be going down in the future.

I am blown away by the details, Usually I can breakdown scenes just by looking at them, and seeing how they were composited in my mind, but this.. If you didn't say it was CGI, I would never known the amount of detail is just so amazing. I would love if you could show a bit of breakdown.

Wow! I wonder what was done specifically with Photoshop (I guess), and what with After Effects? A bit of breakdown would be so interesting!
I was way more scarred by John Goodman twerking...

Great film that Andrew, what's not to like about Walter - shit, that's Goodwin in The Big Lebowski
So we're working on a fun new blog show and it's taking a little longer to produce than expected but here is an embarrassing out-take to enjoy.
Believe it or not, we have to use trick editing to make it seem like I can say a complete sentence. Usually I can introduce a segment in 1-2 takes but some days... not so much.
Be gentle, it was windy. Should probably watch before you read any comments...
