I was surprised to see an article on Digg.com that featured After Effects on the front page. Usually it's a bunch of posts about cats using Photoshop or drawing cats with Photoshop and occasionally cats teaching Photoshop but it's pretty cool to see some good old fashioned After Effects. I say Digg it!

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. The annual conference now brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers. I think is also by your hood, any way check them out if you like. I am going to be at cutandppaste at New york it should be fun.

You're just as surprised as I were when I saw it. In fact, I commented just on that (http://digg.com/design/40_Adobe_After_Effects_Best_of_Tutorials_Resources?t=23451090#c23451090), and by the amount of diggs I got I'd say I wasn't the only one...

I saw this today...thought they were Photoshop tuts for some reason so I didn't read into it. Great stuff there (aside from AK's).
the article should have just been about video copilot since half the tutorials were from here anyway.
LOLZ! speaking of after effects and cats; that reminds me of a time i took on this freelance shot where i had to roto and track some fidgety cats from one moving road shot to another moving road shot. The cat wrangling didn't work out so well, and i had to paint out these curly wires that the cats had got themselves tangled up in. It was my lolcats shot.

Brilliant! Good to see the ring and the HUD on there. Just watched those two and was stunned at the power and accessibility of the expressions used. Very good stuff... Many thanks.

It's about time digg had something up that wasn't pushed over from that stupid 4chan thing. Go videocopilot!
Not a bad collection of tutorials. 6 from Ak's collection. I wouldn't consider some tutorials though. Some are for better rendering skills and such but that is still good information. There is another site that gathers all known After Effects tutorials (or is trying to) and organizes them for you here: http://visualfxtuts.com/
