Oh Calixto. "Brown nosing". You keep using that term. I do not think it means what you think it means. If I was brown-nosing, I would be kissing up to Andrew for my own personal gain and approval. I would say something like "Andrew is the BEST! He can take as much time as he needs because he's probably off making even more amazing tutorials or products or films - or even curing cancer or saving the world!! Or maybe he's spending time with his wife - she is beautiful! But of course she is because Andrew has such amazing masculine, intellectual, and creative qualities. Everyone must be attracted to him. I honestly think there's nothing he can't do. Move over, Alex Trebek - there's a new sheriff in town."
But that's not what I said. I commented specifically about people who are complaining about waiting for something free instead of learning to do it themselves or, you know... just not complaining. It's the equivalent of those who stand at double doors, waiting for a line of people to finish walking through instead of just opening the second door themselves. And I didn't call out anyone specific. But you did. And so this reply. And I agree with Frank - if you don't even care, then why are you bothering to whinge about it? That is a rhetorical question... I have no interest in continuing this conversation.

Well that's the thing Ryan, it doesn't matter how much someone gives back, or how good of a thing they do, on the internet, there is always going to be people who attack and try to tear them down. I don't see it that way. Last year, my big thing was drawing and painting, but now, with the help mostly of VC, I'm learning after effects and 3d studio! I can't express what that means to me, to be able to create this way. If anyone has ever watched Andrew's keynote speech in the tutorials, its obvious why he does this, and I hope that one day I am able to be even a tenth as creative as he is (his team too). I am grateful, and I'm saving my money so I can buy his products, one by one I will get them all. thx!!

Hahaha this is awesome Andrew! Thank you for all the free packs! I'm really hoping that you guys will release a vehicles pack soon though! I'd love some sports cars, trucks, jeeps, tanks, etc. It's such a process taking models from C4D and preparing them for Element, so it would be great if you guys could put together a pack like this. I'd be happy to pay for it!!

I've been in the military for 18 years now and it amazes me of how ungrateful people can be for something that is free. People expect things to be free and like our freedom, everyone talks down to those who provide it. Its time for some of you to MAN up and be respectful for what you have. As Andrew said in his tutorials before, you should master the basics and what's provided in the installed version first. Andrew I'll be moving to California in a few months and would love to stop by and use my experience the military has provided me for new ideas and thoughts totally for FREE.
I agree completely with Calixto. Its not the pack that matters (even though its a very kind gesture for VC to give this away free. But as a matter of principle a company should stand by its word on delivery dates OR at the very least, have the decency to announce any delays with a promised launch. This is not the first time VC has done this and I am sure it won't be the last. So the point Calixto is making is VERY valid in my opinion. Should this pack have been ordered by a large Hollywood studio do u actually believe it wouldn't have been delivered on time. Just because its FREE doesnt give the creator of it the right to keep people hanging on. I find this approach pretty distasteful but its nothing new from VC. They have earned the reputation for not keeping to their word in the past,

Bill. Ryan and Frank...clearly you all qualified for the Gold medal in "Brown Nosing". You have also completely missed my point...I don't care about the "free" pack. In fact, much of what this pack will contains is already available for FREE elsewhere on the Internet (search for it and you'll find the FBX files for free), so the pack is no big deal. What I find troubling and a - pattern - with Andrew (or whomever posts these announcements for him - if not him) is that they'll say or promise smoothening and then completely walk away from it. -- That, unless you're a millennial devoid of moral standards, is disrespectful. I never asked for the pack, nor do I want it... I actually stated the community at large appreciates him providing the pack. -- The one thing I DID say and I stand completely behind my words was...don't play with us! -- If you're going to do something - do it. If you can't just say so and we'll all understand that you have a busy life, a family and a strict work schedule. -- Treat us with the respect an audience deserves to be treated.

It is really troubling that too many people think that something 'free' is something deserved...it is not. It is a gift, and as such, #%&!ing about how long it takes to get a free gift is inappropriate. There are too many people coming on here complaining about the release of this pack. I don't understand why. I'm only 12, so I don't know everything (yet), but I know I have learned more from watching AK's tutorials than any other single source available, and the cost has been 100% free. How could I complain? Speaking of tutorials... 
For those complaining about free 3d model packs being "late" - that time could be spent brushing up on your C4D/Maya/Blender/etc and, you know, making your own.

WOW! Calixto is a bit anxious for VC products I'd say! (Comments below) However ME! FREEEKKKK, I love the tools and could care less about when they come out. As designers and so forth we must be dynamic in figuring out solutions. VC Products and Tutorials don't shortcut that process but inspire solutions in design. If I am not mistaking, Andrew means to do and has said exactly that. oo... and thanks for the free stuff as always guys.

I recall a short movie that was once going to be produced for a film festival of some sort...it was going to be out...shortly. Well, shortly because a couple of weeks, then a couple of months, then almost a year...then never. So in February, when Andrew says...I'll be home for dinner...he means he'll be home for Christmas dinner. -- Listen, we appreciate you providing the pack...just don't play with us. Simple say, I'll get the pack out when I get around to it...someday. And that's fine!

if you could hear me i needed that 8-bit generator plugin..i kept generating 8bit over the internet and it didnt turn out very well..and the one that is quite cool i kinda find its only for the phone..and they demands monies. my monies. can you believe that? im here expecting free barrels and they expect payment. some people.

I don't normally make suggestions for E3D updates, but I've thought this for a year or two and I just started a new work project where for the first time in a while, I'm using a lot of groups in E3D for animating purposes. This brought the thought to the front of my mind.
I've lost count how many times I've lost my place while scrolling through the mass of group drop down menus in E3D as I stepped away from the computer for a second. Instead of just numbering the groups 1 through 5, can they be somehow color coded too for visual aid?
For example
#1 is always highlighted in Blue
#2 is highlighted in red and so on.
Even if its just the numbers that have color, or maybe the tool titles. Just food for thought for future updates.

What's great is I had written VC Support just last week, asking if he might be releasing those models for sale. I got a response back that said, no plans and within about 1 minute, got a second response saying, he (Matt) thought it was in the works! This is fantastic. Funny how thrilled we are about seeing a few rooftop items.
