Nuke is AWESOME, after effects is AWESOME, im proficient at both. They do the same thing, it just depends if you like node based or timeline based workflows optical flares are astonishing anyway you slice it))

I always feel mildly insignificant whenever 'the Nuke kids' chime in. Like my After Effects equipment just isn't big enough to satisfy a VFX supervisor's needs. Should I console myself in the opinion that 'it's what you do with it that matters' or do you think I might be on to something? Am I the only one that feels this way?
