3D MODELS
We posted a free iPhone 5 model recently and some people asked if we were paid by Apple to promote the phone and the answer is NO. They didn’t give us any free phones or computers we did it because we love you… in other words, that plan back-fired!
But today, we are releasing a free Galaxy S3 phone by Samsung and maybe those guys will send us some free TV’s or something. Can’t wait to watch TV on my new Samsung TV! Thanks guys! Hello? … Lousy internets.
3D Model:
Unzip the files to your “My Models” folder to use with Element 3D or import the OBJ file into your favorite 3D program. You can also watch the iPhone 5 tutorial to see how to animate the screen and other useful tips.
We’ve included the Element 3D files for both the white and black version of the phone too!

It’s free, just Download them and find out? They should, since cinema 4d supports 3Ds Max and Maya is an Autodesk product… so I would say yes.
Import those in Max. Export that file As .obj File
And then import it to any f your 3d s/w like maya as you asked for. Solved

Hi, I am having the same problem with this as I had with the Iphone (which I’m sure is my fault). When I drop the screen image into the illumination slot for the screen material, I dont get anything showing. What am I doing wrong?

yes, but not all, there are many animations from 3DsMax. I can say that 50% is Element, animations included!

Is anybody else having trouble with scaling of the model when brought into After Effects?
I’m having to scale to 100%/78% to make it appear normal.
I’m using AE-CS6 …. and never had problems with Element 3D of any kind before today.
Solved! My bad …! My frame aspect ratio settings got changed overnight for some reason.

All the textures work perfectly but the screen isot on the render (I’ve put the screen texture in “Auto illumination” (hope the english name is this), so do you know how put the screen in 3Ds MAx ???

Actually after the last free iPhone model, i some how recieved a box of iphone 5′s from a box i found infront of a building that had some whacky name like Video Copilots. i figured since they were Pilots, they didnt need that box any way, i mean Pilots should be focused on Flying and not playing on iPHONES. i just saved a bunch of peoples LIVES! Keep flying and god speed Kramerica Airlines!

Actually there is…
just apply ” Light Wrap ” Effect in the same Element 3D layer…i’m 100% sure it will work.
apply in the follow possition.
1- Elemend 3D
2- Light Wrap
Should have an iPhone and a Samsung do a dance competition with each other to “Dueling Banjos” or the like.

The iphone model loaded fine.
I’m testing out Cinema 4D, but the textures dont line up on the model. I have no idea on Unwrapping… Can someone post a cinema-file with the texture in place?
Can you parent a 3D element object to a Null? have a null drive the 3d element model, along with an image layer. Is this possible?
Yes it’s possible. Create expressions for the ‘Position XY’ and ‘Position Z’ properties of the particle replicator. Then just pickwhip the null’s position.

This is really great. But honestly I would love a model pack featuring “Things With Screens”. so much of my commercial work calls for video playback on TVs, cellphones, laptops, and computers that I would happily buy a model pack with a variety of those things, Element-ready.
