thanx mr. krammer
April 4th, 2011 @ 12:58 pm
oh my gaaaaad ^^ so thank you!
April 4th, 2011 @ 1:03 pm
Dear Mr. Kramer,

Though we love the free promotion, our logo is not to be "procedurally crumbled," no matter how bad-ass it looks. If you continue this blatant disregard of the sacred Coke logo, we will be forced to terminate Sam Loya. And although he appears to be immortal, a la Kenny from South Park, do not doubt the powers of our legal team.

    April 4th, 2011 @ 2:40 pm
    FINALLY a comment worth reading!!
    April 4th, 2011 @ 3:21 pm
    Lol, I'm switching to Pepsi...

I think Bruce Lee would be proud to see this...
    April 4th, 2011 @ 5:42 pm
Funniest thing I've read all day! Thanks for the laughs!!!
    April 6th, 2011 @ 12:21 am
    April 6th, 2011 @ 5:26 pm
The developers of Mortal Combat could not agree more fully, and we will be sending our best hit-men to eliminate the VC team if our demands are not met.
    April 8th, 2011 @ 2:40 am
That's hilarious! :) Though I'm pretty sure both Coca-Cola and Warner Brothers have payed for this. :)
    May 1st, 2011 @ 6:00 am
    LOL, haha. FAKE
    May 17th, 2011 @ 1:52 pm
Nice! we will be forced to terminate sam loya with, wait for it!! arnold schwartsenager!

April 4th, 2011 @ 6:36 pm

Hi andrew
is it possible put some NUKE tutorials
April 8th, 2011 @ 5:10 am
Did anyone notice that this exact tutorial was used on American Idol last night? At the beginning of the show, a white background shattered revealing the word "One" in black.
April 8th, 2011 @ 7:07 am
Oi Andrew!

Some things are way to obvious to be coincidental. I've seen every episode of this season of American Idol. Have you watched the latest episode? If not, you should. What does it use in the pre-intro? Procedural 'crumbling'... There's just no way that's a coincidence - I've say it's pretty obvious you've got fans in the Am. Idol editing room, hehe... Pure awesomeness... ;D

Rgds/Johnny Farmfield
April 8th, 2011 @ 7:31 am
Andrew!! My wife made me watch American Idol last night, and they totally used this technique at for the opening text of the show! Crazy cool. You should be getting some sort of residuals for your work!
April 8th, 2011 @ 7:31 am
They used this last night on the American Idol intro, hah.
April 8th, 2011 @ 8:08 am

Lots of thanks from a french guy. Long life to you and to crumble ( nice meal ). I'm impatient to see the next tutorial. Have a nice week!
April 12th, 2011 @ 2:59 am
Hey Andrew!
You should put here on video copilot's site somekind of parcel where we can write down our problems in after effects and ask advice from other users.
I know I would found it useful and I'm sure that many of the users agree with me.
That is just an idea =)
    April 13th, 2011 @ 2:40 pm
Hey Jesse! There is a place called a Forum that does JUST what you want! It is located at the top of this page, just click on "FORUM". Good luck!

I´ve just seen that "Tele5" has used your project in the promo of a reality show called "Supervivientes". Exactly the same!

Hey Andrew,
While looking at this video, and specifically at the part where you want the pieces to 'write on while crumbling', wouldn't it be easier if you just ticked ''render all'' and not just the pieces?
Would that work?
Looking for an answer,
April 16th, 2011 @ 6:12 am
In this project I used a video copilot technique, see if you can spot it.
April 16th, 2011 @ 8:01 am
Used a similar effect along with stock from VideoCoPilot Action Essentials on a promotional video I worked on.

You can check it here

Thank you Andrew

Hi Andrew. A Spanish commercial television (Tele 5) use your project to promote a reality (Supervivientes). I'm looking the promo video to get you a link.
Ahh ... sorry for my English!

This is pretty neat, similar, although this guy used real explosives, it would be cool to simulate the effect in AE.

So just to do a bit of a shout out, I've been working on a project for about a year and a half and I'd come down to one of the last effects in it and was playing around with various things to get the look right and then this tutorial came out! I'm not doing exactly what you're doing here (at all) but I was able to take some of your steps and kinda apply them to my project and now 1 and 1/2 years worth of work is finished. Thanks!!! it was very timely.
