Banner Submissions Open

We are collecting your banner design submissions to be featured at the top of Video Copilot! Is that a good thing? I don't know.

BTW: This is not a contest but depending on how everything goes we may consider some challenges in the future. Your reward for the trouble is knowledge and maybe bragging rights to small kittens! We'll check them out and publish them on the site from time to time, we're probably not going to announce ones we publish, so keep your eyes open.

Also, the font I commonly use is called Century Gothic, not required but I like it.

Since we're on the subject, I really think you should have a jQuery slider since you have some many products on the homepage. Something full width like the Hootsuite would be cool.

I think it would help keep homepage from looking cluttered.

somehow I get the feeling this Banner Contest will soon fall under the... "Be careful what you wish for..." category.

From what I can tell, there are 20-30 excellent banner choices to choose from...

Andrew how much time we have to do so.
Hey Andrew this is a really nice idea. A few of us vfx artists use a site called VFX student which helps students improve the skills and get advice from vfx experts.

I will make a banner for you and i'll post it within this week.

I agree! Dynamic (random) banner would be great! That way you can just hit F5 until you find yours, if it got there :]

I've seen a lot good ones in the forum, I think this "not contest" is a great idea.
As Al Delcy said a dynamic changing banner would be great.

@ Fabian: Yeah I got a randomizer script on my site for the banner. It is really easy to do.

how bout a banner rotation script ? that way you see a different banner each time you come onto the page.

Will you post who the runner-up banners are? I'd hate to see a whole community dedicated to graphic design be forced to have only one winner. Inevitably, I'd like to see that perhaps it was at least a difficult decision when choosing the best XD
