Here is the short teaser for our exciting new product Action Essentials 2 HD. A final promo will be on later this month with a list of the amazing features.

Action Essentials 2 will be available sometime in JUNE 2009.

Teaser Note:
Just to clarify, many of the elements in the teaser are zoomed in to show the detail and quality. The actual collection contains wide and close up shots for a variety of compositing needs. Also, the blood has a gray background but it is actually pre-keyed and ready to composite.

Well that's the point I think. A teaser is supposed to tease. A trailer comes out closer to the product release. We didn't really do teasers for any other product but this one is special .

Hey AK, back again it just crossed my mind watching the trailer. Who composes your songs? do you compose them your self? (like in FL or reason, or pro tools) or do you use something like cinescore or sonicfire Pro? I mean the orchestral pieces u use are excellent, or do you record yourself playing every instrument can you play the didgeridoo? hahaha

Looks like a pretty good pack... Hey AK i was thinking, have you thought of releasing stock footage? Also have you thought of putting up a vlog? to accompany this blog?
You can say, give out quick tips on it, or interview people in the industry, give us a tour of studios you work at, a behind the scenes look at your stuff, IDK this action pack is just to exciting to read about, you need a vlog. IMHO

It happens to be my birthday in June.. Since im getting 1/4th antique by than.. Seems like a nice present!

The glass also seems really interesting, besides the fire, smoke and water ofcourse. (It was glass right?...)
Cant wait till june for this to happen!
Was just wondering about the edges of the fireworks-kinda-elements, they seem cut-off (cropped?) in the demo.
Is that because you downscaled it? Or maybe done on purpose so the text was more readable?
But the overall look is great though!

I honestly think it has to do with the fact that Fl player is more accessible on more computers; it's a numbers thing.

I am even having a problem with my QT player at the moment, it maybe because Apple don't like PC's.

But Andrew is probably going to tell me that I am wrong now.

With this player it's impossible to look frame by frame and have a decent look at the bits that go too fast.
However usually all the vids on VCP are Quicktime, so I'm pretty sure it was a deliberate decision

Heck. I wasn't so keen on buying Action Movie Essentials 1 so far, because I usually like to shoot my (stock) footage myself but this looks like it's definitely worth a deeper look into it. Awesome quality, from what I can see in the teaser.

One question I DO have, though: that flare in the clip, is that Knoll Light Factory? Or a custom one? Just curious.

Keep it up! (and I'm gonna watch Star Trek tomorrow and pay close attention to the title sequence.)

Unfortunately I'll just be getting the lower res stuff (Budget requirements suck man) but I'm sure it'll still suffice for my work. I'm hoping you've got tons of tutorials, like you normally have, with this package to inspire/instruct us on how to use these types of visual elements in our work.

Thats awesome. I'm pretty pumped actually cause me and some friends are making movie right based on COD 5: Nazi zombies. there is actually an abandon fort that was once used for emergency water supplies back in the early 1960's apparently, so were going to base our movie there. hey andrew, great job as always! i am totally speechless, AE1 was great, and AE2 seems to be even better ( which is fairly almost impossible! )

One question before I buy this product:

Will it be very slow on my crappy computer with a amd athlon xp 3200+ and 2x 512 MB RAM? I guess so..

I think I should make a product to earn some money,too..

One question, I know you couldn't show all of the elements in the teaser, but I've been wondering if there is blood splatter footage? (on walls and dripping down, etc?)

Hope the answer is yes! but if not I'm still buying it!

Hey Hugo,
We actually did shoot a lot of stuff at 4k and 3k but the high speed stuff can only be captured at 2k and we wanted to conform everything to the most viable format. Plus it is easy to use when compared to 4k and up-scales quite nicely.

Heey, this looks preatty awesome. By the way, what's the matter with the amount of lens flares? The Action Essentials 2 are preatty cool. By the way: why is AE2 not in 4K? Because you think people in the professional movie industry will not use this? It can be very usefull I think.

Actually the track is not from Pro Scores. We want to maintain the life and originality of Pro Scores so we try not to use it too much on the site. Although we love it!
