Dark Energy + Video

Here's another free project file that uses the electric energy along with some other cool fx. The layers aren't terrible organized but you can probably find your way around.

PS, I'm sorry but I can only provide project in CS3.

I did this effect a week ago and din't saw it here! what a coincidence, it was not the same paramaters but the result was very good too.

I'm happy cause I'm starting to create vfx from zero, sometimes I see a tutorial here and I get a lot of information to create my own things, it's amazing...

thanks to Andrew Kramer, man you're my hero xD

(sorry any english mistakes )

Why don't you create a tutorial on these two projects?
They are awesome!
For the dark world at least, in the energy the only difficult part is working with fractal noise I think...

You are always the best!

are you going to do future tutorials for these?? for the electric beam and the dark energy? i was checking out the file for the electric beam and looks like it can be simple to do, but not sure if i can pull it off. plus i think other people would be able to benefit if you do these as a tutorial it can be one of those quicky tutorials you been trying to do that that only last like 5 min

This one is great and it would be greater if you can create a Extras page just for some stuff like this.

What I mean is beside your tutorials, many new people don't know if you have some free Projects like this one before. It would be easier for them that they can find extra free projects from the past in one page.

Thank you.

Try posting this in the forum and you will probably get some good feedback. From the looks of it you may want to check out tutorial 58 and 54.

omgsh.... have you seen what Lyndon done, that is also impressive..check out " http://vimeo.com/1760942 " he posted it here...man.
Andrew Good Job...you are seriously the man...
Lydon Good Job too....give your project file to Andre Kramer, so he can also teach us on how you did the 3D spin in your video.

Andrew Kramer, i know i might be asking a stupid question but do you have any idea on how he did the 3D flip thing on the start? I really want to know how Lydon did that. If so please comment back and suggest what tool i have to use and etc..

Thank you very much

I've just seen it too, Sam is now famous in Germany
17 years ago
looks nice, thanks!

by the way: your side was shown on german tv today! the show is called "Taff" and it is about lifestyle and stuff. they show all star wars movies in the next weeks, and thus they showed some seconds of your lightsaber tut.
in the moment, you can watch yesterdays show for free, so maybe tomorrow you can see the one with your tut. it should be very close to the end.

keep on the good work!

Nice. Reminds me of the LHC project they recently ran in Europe.

P.S.

I started watching Fringe on Hulu in my spare time. It's actually pretty cool. some extreme special effects are every where. I love there well-integrated floating titles. They also have this awesome title sequence! It great! I wonder who made it...
