This pack looks awesome and I will definitely buy…but it’s just really a shame that I didn’t wait a month before buying the Element 3D + Pro Shaders pack – I could have gotten Metropolitan for just another $50 bucks (

The other graphic design bundle just was not going to be useful for me – I would have bought it with the weapons pack though…

Just a thought but maybe you could give people the choice in the future – like plus any one model pack or something? Just a thought…it’s something I would like to see when you launch Element 3D 2.0…

There is a link to download the ELEMENT patch to v1.5 – which is necessary for the METROPOLITAN pack.

You should also see it in your order history.

Excellent so far. Are there any samples to show how much detail is available for closeups? Wide shots look spectacular, but I’ve got a few different uses on the current agenda that would involve being tighter on windows, etc.

I’ts really bizar that the pack came out today, sind’s I’ve sold my actual real house today!!!

Hi Andrew.

So I installed the update then I installed the Metro Pack and immediately went to your first tutorial. You were explaining the different buildings and then mentioned that you have included new 4K texture maps and by example loaded “blue_skyline_4k”. I tried to follow along and did the same however I don’t have any new 4K maps in my library after installing. Is this a glitch and am I perhaps missing those maps? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Element 1.5 & the new Metropolitan pack have are some of the most revolutionary products to come out in 5 plus years. I’ve been working in this field since 86 & the tools we have to create with today are nothing short of magic. Now if only more people could learn to write good scripts. LOL!

Im sorry to report another bug but Im sure the feed back will help make this already awesome program even better. Theres always going to be small bugs with new things and its all good! That said, the issue is I am unable to render out my shot. I’ve created a project 1280X720, followed your tutorial to build my city, created a simple camera animation but when I send to render Que and hit render nothing happens. It just remains frozen in time without any progress. Im not sure if there are settings I should be aware of on my machine in order to make it work more smoothly? I have CS4 on a MAC PRO with GTX 285 card. My specs are below. Once again thanks for any help.

Hi Andrew… Great model pack mate. You guys are really setting an awesome standard. Just a quick question… In your tutorial, it shows 156 models in the Metropolitan folder and 115 in the No Antenna folder. I only have 104 in each folder…. am I missing something?

Andrew, this pack is grate! I thing you make lot of efford and work doing this and the Element 3D 1.5 with the bug fixes. I will ask you if you could do one of this 3D packs but insted of buildings, of cars… like a ferrari, porche, bugatti,etc. This would be grate for recording our oun movies crashing expensive cars with out having to buy them (because we don’t have to much money hahaha). Extraordinary pack!

Any future projects planned to produce a City Streets pack, with taxis, road signs, traffic lights, and such? That way I could take the camera down to street level in Metropolitan.

Also, a Suburb and Rural Town pack to put in front of the Metropolitan pack would be really great, to enter and leave a town. (Or would packs like these perhaps require too much detail, making the pack too expensive..?)

Anyway, congratulations with the Metropolitan pack, in itself a huge accomplishment.

I just wanted to thank AK et al. for developing Element 3D and the Metropolitan City pack which were vital in the completion of my short which integrates live chroma key footage.

The ability to composite the live action with 3D objects directly in AE greatly improved the work flow.
