why I’ll do a project, using the tutorials, earth zoom, 3D planet, shaterize (my english is bad), a short action movie, using the soundtrack of Splinter Cell Conviction and sound fx, which are incredible.

Remember this update is for all Optical Flares customers running the current 32-bit version of After Effects, not just ae cs5.

HURRAY…this will work way more smoother on my computer now. Cuz I’m using a 64bit laptop the O.Flares plugin would lag all the time…this will help a lot…I hope

This is also a great effort for those who want to make something awesum or realistic & also do work hard for it but now its easy to make it with the help of O.P..

Hi, thanks for the update. I’m hooked on OF. I’m still a little confused on the BG option. When I activate it is doesn’t show the frame (of the avi) that I am trying to apply the the effect to to … it shows some other frame in the avi (possibly the 1st frame). How do I get the bg to to display the current frame that the current time marker is on when I launched OF?

I tried OF but seems that animation setting doesn’t work. I create a new solid, effects, videocopilot, OF. I play around with settings like “animation”, set amount and speed, but nothing happended. Raylights is always still… bug?

I found some strange thing with OF. I created one long composition about 3:30min and I used only parts of this comp. For exmpl. from 1:58 to 2:48 and OF on 2:46 was off. It looks like bug. I found only one solution, I just move the solid layer with OF and it works.

Most people have a screen size large enough to show everything all at once so there was no-need to hid stuff anymore with a slide panel. Although the cool-factor was off-the-chart!

The Optical Flares Options Window doesn’t fit on my screen. I mean, it always stay on the top corner of my screen making the FILE, EDIT, VIEW buttons and presets buttons unseen.Done changing the screen resolution but nothing happened.

Hello, I really like your Optical Flare plugin. works fine with me on CS5. I can’t on show Background (BG). Its says “to use the show BG feature, please choose a BG Layer from within the plug-in” . What does it mean

well, Finally I found the way to do that. You must choose the previewing BG layer in AE Effects first ..

this plug is a kick ass plug

the only problem is that it works only on ae

when importing from ae to premiere
premiere will warn you that o.f isn’t installed
that’s the only issue
guess if i buy it , i’ll have to export from ae in quick time and animation codec

This looks awesome but do have to use special requirments or programs to download this? Because when i tried to download after effects it said to use a special download system and it still didn’t work will this do the same? just asking

If I buy a license for Optical Flares, can I run it on a Mac and a PC or am I screwed to one computer?
