Mudi: I think there is more Trapcode FORM in this dancer video- you can make a precomp of a dancing lady and use it as a Color,Displacement,Opacity,Disperse maps for your particles.They also used it for T3:Salvation (WB logo and some “robot vision” visuals).As for Particular 2.0 you get way alot more controllers to tweak than 1.5- for example to get to “Affect Position” controller we all adore you have to open Physics -> Air -> Turbulence Field (you also get nice Spherical Field menu with tweaks as well).

I’m getting really tired of this “Professionals vs the other lot” mentality and decided to put THIS particular professional in his place. Remember the blog post with the 3d helicopters (the normal and the snow version) he never mentioned about that ‘’secret project” anymore. Don’t get my wrong, I love the site but I loved that helicopter shot and he hasnt mentioned it anymore eversince.

That, or a laser nunchuck fight tutorial, in which the fighters wear some sort of protective gloves, but smoke comes out anyways cause the laser is slowly burning through the gloves.

I want to make you a question, I´ve been having problems removing tracking marks with my greens screen or live footage and if the the live footage are camera movements are harder. Provablly if you can show something how to fix it with AE will be a good help.

I am a disabled from Nepal. Here in my country i had always found it difficult to work on any field because of wheelchair accessible problem. Our country is a poor one so i hasnt been able to maintain wheelchair access facility in all of the sectors. I had always had an interest in motion graphics work and my disability made it compulsion to work only on this field because working on visual effects didnt need to many movement problem. So I was working as a motion graphics artist in Nepal. And your tutorials have been always a help for my visual works. so i am just writing to say you thank you.

Andrew, I hope you made the opening graphic for one of Leno’s segments last night “Penelope Cruz”. If you didn’t, someone just downloaded your 90. Ancient Titles project and just changed the text. Maybe that’s what you’re doing in lala land?

I’ve always been more of just a graphic designer. My girlfriend does a lot of motion graphics and 3D work, but she’s not a very good teacher, lol. So i wanted to learn AE and I found VCP.net and now i’m doing things with my PS and FW art that i never thought possible. Not to mention 3DSM and C4D. I just wanted to mention that Quentin Tarantino was in town (Morelia, Michoacán MEXICO) last month promoting his most recent film, Inglorious Bastards. I was lucky enough to meet him (he autographed a special edition of Resevoir Dogs I had yei!) and I used ACTION ESSENTIALS 2 for the titles I used in a 10 minute piece I did from the press conference he gave. Eli Roth was here too!

Your tutorials and products have taken my video productions to a new level and integrading 3d/2d into video is pure magic! INTEGRATION IS THE KEY!

I am now going to head back to California and study Animation and or Filmmaking, I currently have a B.A. in Journalism but I have always been into Advertising and Photography.

Any advice or recommendations anybody? I will be living in the north Bay Area.

Andrew it´d be great to meet you someday and see you in action! I plan on doing some film shorts and documentaries in the near future.
