Free Textures from New York

One of the things I did in New York was walked around the city shooting pictures of various textures and surfaces. Every block is different and I was able to capture some very cool stuff. I haven’t gone through them all but here are a few choice selections for everyone. You can use them commercially but our standard license applies.

New tutorials will be coming next week; right now, there is a lot to catch up on after being gone for a week. Please be patient as cool things are in the works.

Nice one!
BTW. Check out my newest Filmtrailer - The Receptionist.
April 3rd, 2009 @ 5:52 pm
I'd be too scared to take photos of textures, people would think "why is that lunatic taking a photo of a blank wall?" and point at me and ask "hey, why are you taking pictures of a WALL, wtf is wrong with you?" and I'd have to explain it's a "texture" and no matter what I said they'd still think I'm crazy and perhaps beat me up.
