New Site Features Coming Soon

In addition to the new header graphic, my team and I are working on adding several new features to the site including a new button! We’re also working on making the tutorial section more exciting with better thumbnails and graphics (no flash, don’t worry).

We are back finishing up the Special Edition Tutorial DVD with tons of new behind-the-scenes videos and features. But we are also working on releasing another new product next month…
ahh, what the heck, It’s TWITCH! (Release date TBA)

Plus, Part 1 of the Eye Replacement tutorial should be out on Monday or Tuesday with the part 2 later in the week.

As you can see we are very busy, just because we don’t post everyday doesn’t mean we’re not working hard. Keep up the patience and great content will continue to flow.

And some of you killed the sandpaper joke.
Let us never speak of it again.

“Let us never speak of it again”

That’s exciting! I can’t wait.

Twitch will likely cost $39.95. What a deal!

I hope you make a video of what the Twitch can do.
oh, do VCP send products to Norway? or do we have to get them in some other way?

lol keep up the good work andrew XD

We use the Matter-Transporter 2000 for shipments to Norway, or just United States Postal Service :) or download…

Awesome

I agree that the twitch product should come with a tutorial. Your tuts on the Evolution product were great! I got to work right away.
c

I want twitch sooo bad i cant wait…

oh… and I love you andrew

Am I missing something obvious, or what does the broken glass have to do with the new developments? Keep up the good work Andrew! We’ll always be watching! (That sounds way more creepier then it really should).

yesssss…another product! and i’m sure it will be just as great as all the other ones.

i can’t wait for twitch!

Excellent!! new button :D

by Will Carroll

The glass is just cool.

it is i like it… i looked at it for like 5 min in awe lol XD and yeah Conor lol XD

I can’t wait until the eye tutorial!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I love the header graphic.

Does the new button have a roll-over fx ? Man, it sounds so exciting ! ^^

By the way, the new header looks great, like some kind of slimy cristal.

WHOA! New title graphic, lol.
Cool. Great to hear about all the new stuff, especially Twitch and the new Tutorials.

Keep it up Andrew!
P.S. Amen to the joke which will not be mentioned again!

WOW!!! nice new graphic!!! can’t wait for the new stuff, looking forward to it :)

sorry for the double post, but i just got back from watching 1 missed call… saw the centipede crawling under someone skin and got a little to excited about knowing how to do that and laughed-scream… haha, thanks for that one, i really liked it

keep up the awesome work! :)

Hey, a final say in reference to the sandpaper;
I knew a guy who once had poison ivy on the brain and the only way he can scratch it is when he thought of sandpaper.

Yeah, go scratch and twitch – i know.

by Kim A. Strandli

Good to hear about the shipment to Norway :) I should buy several of your products if I get money sometime, I should really get a job.. I’ve seen pretty much of the products already, I know a guy who owns them, they are FANTASTIC!

But will you make a “shattering effect” tutorial for 3DS Max or something later? I want to know how so simulate thing that break, it have so much possibilities! (was that written correct?)

Anyways, if shattered glass is a part of the new header, I would most likely love it!

by Josh Johnson

Great news. Thanks for all the hard work Andrew and VCP Team.

by Dustin James

I never do doubt you or your team.. I think part of the excitment is checking the site daily to see if there is an update..

ONLY $39!!!

Why so cheap? Gosh I was thinking $59-79..

Thank you for letting us know what is coming up next cause that helps me budget for this kind of stuff.. I always like being one of the first to get your products..

PS. I just finished a project that used evolution.. And lots of it.. Some of those textures in evolution are just as good and an excellent adition to riotgear!

Thanks andrew..

What exactly is twitch going to do? hrmmm….

Andrew Kramer and videocopilot.net is always so freaking inspirational, whenever I’m having a bad day I stop by knowing that something cool is coming up.

OMg!!! I cant wait!!! I want the twitch!! When it is going to be release? I will buy it right away the first day of twich release.

I am waiting for Twitch while awaiting works
Thanks for all the hard work

um just a question, shouldn’t the title for ur site say “Visual FX & Post Production” or is it intended to be as it is?

Andrew, is there a date for the Q&A with you and Sam? Just interested in hearing what you have to say about the industry and other unrelated stuff.

Cloverfield is only 12 days away….woohoo.

Why not 37.28 or 39.96? Its a pattern I’ve noticed in pricing… but you can do what you want… you’re Andrew Kramer!!! haha…

Keep up the great work everyone and I’ll see you all tomorrow or Tuesday, or whenever Andrew finishes up the tutorial to make us all look possessed.

by Will Carroll

Question,

Is that real glass, or was it modeled in like 3ds MAX?

Lifes a Twitch, so get it! ;)

Perfect, thanks for the update man. We know u r working hard.

AK:

Can you tell us what will happend with the bridge tutorial???

A whole new button. This will be good. Also looking forward to the eye tutorial, should be fun.

P.S. just finished the teaser promo for my new series the adventures of Jay-man and Afroguy (usin the blue planet tutorial). heres the link. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zgAfsLZ7B30

UMM

Not that I’m not excited about the new Twitch plugin, a new button on VCP or people sandpapering their eyeballs but…

What ever happened to that cool Reactor stuff you were working on? It was looking so wicked!

ha!
matter transporter 2000:)

by Sebastian Tangen de la Nuez

Behind the scenes video has been pretty awesome so far.

How about a forum?

:D

DUDE! hat is a hot header!

When do we get to c the promo of TWITCH

Wow, I love buttons! Especially those you can push. Keep up the amazing work. You guys are awesome!

Can’t wait for TWITCH!!!

by Morten Enoksen

Will it be a part two of the eye tutorial? :O
Are you gonna try to make a empty eye-socket?:P Cus if you are planning to, that would be AWESOME! Although, I have never been dissapointed by any of your tuts!

So much stuff at once! A tutorial, a new product coming sooner or later (hopefully not to late) and a new BUTTOn, i love these things. Push Push Push Push untill i hit a wrong one, yea always do that!!!

I sure hope Twitch will be worth it’s money, $39,95 is after all much money for a plug-in.

Part 1 and Part 2?
So in tutorials page that is part one of Eye tut?

Hi there…
Time ago, there were Links or additional Information on the Details-Site of the Tutorials (lfor example: Earth Zoom with Google Maps Links etc…).
Would be great, to get those again :-)

Great news, can’t wait for it :-)

Can’t wait for Twitch, sounds awesome. :)
I was curious how you made your site though? Dreameweaver perhaps? Get back to me on that one.

-montagical

a new button! oh no Im not good with change! lol

Will any of the new features be 3ds Max Tuts. I love those. They are awesome.

Andrew, how about adding a few more presets. I always click on the button hoping for a new addition. After 300.000 clicks I am calling it quites. LOL look forward to it all

I thing including new section will be a great idea. A section about coworking with 3d programs such as 3dmax. Tutorials and basic techniques like in the tutorial with the blood cells. The tutorial was great, and the outcomming was one of the best accomplishments in the content base.

I thing a new section like this will be very helpfull to all, including me :)

@Bastiaan
40 bucks is a lot of money? You’re kidding right?
Last month I updated some TDM plugins for my Pro Tools HD rig, for the bargain price of 4500 Euro…
40 bucks is NOTHING. One little job because of it is all it takes… and the rest is profit.
So … that being said… please send NFR copies to my address. Thank-ya-verry-much! :D

非常震撼!
very good.

By the way i watched most of the tutorial and find my self quite learning.hope you guys don’t change and big thanks to Mr. ANDREW KRAMER and the Team for a wonderful Video Tutorials. God Bless more power..

Probably not the right place to ask this question, but I cant find the advertisement here anymore. On one of the pages there was a plugin that Andrew was talking about that was made by a friend of his that simulated smoke. Does anyone know what that was or have the link. There was a link on the news page at one point but it is gone now.

Thanks for any info.

How much will the DVD cost? (an estimate would be great!)

Hi Andrew,

Just wanted to stop by and thank you for the basic traing it really came in handy and I have made alot of progress!

Thanks

John

On the subject of new site features I think you should a request section for tutorials. as you have a lot of amazing stuff but theres some you dont have that I would love to see. A few in particular are the effects that smallvile has done ex.super speed, also maybe some force powers.

Thanks,
Cole
