I did know how to do a lightwrap in Photoshop for a still image but couldn’t find out how to achieve it in After Effects. And the stuff you showed with that Girl.mov brought me to some cool ideas. I never thought before to use a ramp with an adjustment layer to apply effects. So, thank you for listening to your community and bringing out this amazing blooper reel. Things like this makes you to the best tutor on the internet.

I am going to name my first born “After Shake” It’s strong but gentle. Plus it’s unisex so it could be a boy or girl. Thanks for making my morning less crappy, now back to the grind.

The ha-ha overflow is messed u-p because of the ha ha’s being one word. For the render engine this means no linebreak. If it was like hahahahahah haha(mention the whitespace) then your browser would have applied a linebreak.

fix for IE: add in css: word-wrap: break-word;
Firefox wraps whenever it can AFTER a whitespace. so big bug, know for years, dno why it’s never fixed.

This fix doesn’t comply to W3C rules and therefore stay away from it Opera seems to handle it fine I guess.

In the last video you said you can not control the wiggle that it is always shaking. Im sure you know this but you can control it if you link the wiggle expression to a expression controller such as a slider. Just thought I’d bring this up. Hope you don’t think I’m a smart ass. Lynda.com also doesnt offer this kind of training. They cover the basics of the program. They also have a “title techniques” dvd, but they’re kinda lame.
Andrew Kramer can school them any day of the week.

@ Dustin James, actually that’s not light wrap. My dumbass exported the video out from AE at a different size than what I exported it at in Final Cut. So what youre actually seeing are the black bars from my first export. I must have had the black bars when I brought it into AE and added the lighting effects onto pof it so it looks lighter. wont happen again hopefully thanks for checkin out Berringer. Were doing some more shooting in 2 weeks. Expecting some big things for this project. I cant wait to share it with everybody. Stay tuned!

How about a tutorial on broadcast colors…final output to dvd, tape or whatever to be able to get the best quality possible…..I always seem to edit something and it looks awsome on the computer…I put it on a dvd to check it out on tv and I am like What the hell happened. It looks nothing like it did on the computer.

When I try tracking I have the hardest time finding a point that doesn’t become blurry at some point and throws the tracker off–I shoot on a Panasonic DVX100A 24P advanced.

Any ideas?

I use HDV JVC HD200

You some times have to track by hand moving the cross-hair as needed. Or larger track points.

Andrew cross hair’s are for first person shooters like counter strike, were not playing them right now gosh.
