This tutorial is helping me to get that "energy" look that i've been craving.

I'm editing it as a 4K video (lol). and my computer's having a hard time keeping up.

Great tutorial man love it, But when I go to put my street footage comp. into a new comp. It keeps crashing. I think its cause of motion blur. I am using cs4 with macbook pro.

Andrew Kramer, I salute you. Your tutorials are just so amazing and your humor is unbeatable.
I am just curious that where do you get those genious ideas? I mean have you studied AE for a long long time or how do you manage to set up those amazing things?
Anyway I hope that you will be able to make a bunch of more tutorials in the future because you really are the chosen one for this job.

PS: Could you think about making an AE tutorial based on golf somehow? Maby a powerfull drive, bunker shot or something like that. But that is just a proposal, nothing fancy.

Hey Andrew, love your stuff, only one problem, when I go to put the grid over top of the street and I select the Generate Grid effect, its a grid but then a black background behind the grid and I cant get the black to go away so I can see the street footage, it goes away when I click the eye of course but then also hides the grid. Please help, Thanks

hi I'm a really big fan I just have one question, it looks like there is some sort of distortion following the energy ball in the original video, but you do not go over it in the tutorial

I do not have after effects to try all your tutorials but I downloaded the trial version but it has now expired.

Do you need to create the ground plane in order to have the light cast on the ground footage? Does it cast the light the original footage if you do not create the ground plane?

Hi. what are the effects you are using in making that 3D Light Casting? Co'z i cant keep up to your tut video. Is way to fast and especially when u apply that particle world effects. Is it particle world or CC Particle world? Coz i tried to apply a CC Particle world effect.
