36 RESPONSES TO "EARTHQUAKE WITH 32BPC" by Bogdann Petrea 01/13/2010 Hello Andrew, the tip about the Slider Control was very helpful. Thank You by Max 12/09/2009 Very nice, like allways! Just one question about the 32 bit... If you are working to produce a dvd.. the 32 need to be exportet to 8bit again.. right? Will those effects you just made up get lost then? Max by Siva 11/24/2009 You are jus amazing Andrew. Can make a destroying building tutorial like in 2012 film? by dippin 11/12/2009 you are a good library.i want learn more, but iam poor family.i hope i will growup with your tutorial video clips. i didn't say one word thanks...i.....i....i.. no word to say............ by jose 10/18/2009 You are the Einstein of After effects, Andrew...could you do in the near future a Heros flying effect...you are great, thank you for what you are doing. God bless. by mango 10/05/2009 Thanks Andrew. by DarkEntity 07/10/2009 wooow...wish i could get an AE pro..:( by c_valencia 07/05/2009 Thanks Andrew for this great tutorial and wajdi for the transfer mode solution. Greetings from Chile. by Mark Gunn 06/09/2009 Just wanted to drop a note that your tutorials are fantastic. I'm not a professional but your information makes it so easy to do things....taking paths that I wouldn't even consider. Thank you for making this all available. Whenever I get a comment of praise or asked how I do it, I just utter those famous words "Ancient Chinese secret." Thank you again for making me look so good. Also, thanks for the easy going style and pace of your tutorials. by wajdi 05/14/2009 hi again i found the solution for the darkness with Add in the level control panel under output white there is 2 stop watchs - Clip to output Black - Clip to output white in Cs4 you have to activate it for the 32 bit because its by default set to "inactive for the 32 bit". just clic infront of the text and you will see 3 choices and select the Active option. Sorry for my bad english and i hope its helping you guys by wajdi 05/14/2009 Hi Andrew, Thx for your great tutorials, but i am getting the same problem when i do Add using 32 BPC. am new in after effect and i am using CS4. by John I 05/02/2009 having the same problems as above, Add works fine in 8 and 16bpc, but in 32bpc the image goes dark, and only the light area is visible. by ElfTheHunter 03/28/2009 I wasn't able to figure out why it wasn't working... but it definetly only fails in 32bpc (8 and 16 works fine). It is a pretty bright shot (day) so maybe it has to have more contrast... anyway, I just did 8bpc and got the shake (the reason I found tut) but would like to know why 32bpc Add transfer mode isn't working. by ElfTheHunter 03/28/2009 I'm having the same problem squarepixel was having... which is that one I crush the levels and change the transfer mode to Add it doesn't do anything... this was not happening before I changed it to 32bpc (missed that part when I first started, then realized my mistake and restarted it). I'll keep looking for an answer, if I find one I'll leave another comment with the solution. by ... 03/24/2009 u r so gene?us man..u r great.? st?ll wa?t for ur project..thank u for everyth?ng.. by squarepixel 02/25/2009 I have a strange thing happening. When I duplicate the layer and crush the levels, and change the transfer more to ADD, the result is not at all the same as that of Andrew's. Is this because of the newer version of AE? I am using CS3. Please help by Leslie Aggrey 10/30/2008 Hi Andrew, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I tried my hands on the LA GAP sign Motion track. But my end result is some kind of wired. After I hit "Apply" the "Dark Lime Green Solid" which is suppose to fall exactly on the GAP sign, moves out of position. When I compare the "Corner Pin" and"Position" figures with yours, mine is: Corner Pin Upper Left - 556.2, 272.9 Upper Right - 727.5, 257.0 Lower Left - 553.8, 462.4 Lower Right - 721.5, 446.5 Position - 744.0, 794.0 instead of Corner Pin Upper Left - 598.0, 316.0 Upper Right - 682.0, 311.0 Lower Left - 597.0, 408.5 Lower Right - 682.0, 405.0 Position - 744324.0, 400.0 What is wrong with my positioning. I've tried several times. by Stefan 10/16/2008 Great tutorial, it helped me a lot! After effects motion blur only seems to affect motion generated by the program, I'd really like the blur effect as motion trails as if a long exposure was used on straight video, is this possible? Motion blur in vegas affects everything for example, but it has the "8-bit" look. by VÃÂctor Da Silva 09/17/2007 Nice tutorial! I'll like to see more about HD and expressions.
