Hey, this may be a really silly question that has a really easy answer, but I just can't figure it out.

When I insert my Energy Wave into the new Composition with my Title in it - everything works great - but there is a very obvious SOLID LINE where the Energy Wave STOPS, and even where it starts. I do not know why this is happening, and it looks really bad.

Yours just flows, mine is suddenly stopped.

Please help.

When time-framing the "Energy" to go from right to left (or any direction) theres an ugly invisible line that cuts off the energy and doesn't look good
:\ ex. |~~~| <- that's what i got ~~~~ <- that's what i want.

Oh, I figured out how to fix the ending, still working on the beginning bit - but just go into your Pre-comp for the Energy Wave - and change the longevity of it. (: Make it a smaller number, that way the energy "dies off" before it hits the end of the Composition, therefore no weird lines (:

if you search "energy" or "orb" or "galactic orb" or something like that on the website, you can find in very good detail how to make that energy or/ball
If you go to http://www.youtube.com/dtsaiint i created an animation with the galactic orb, it is pretty well done in my view.

Hi! Great tutorials. I've just started with After Effects, more as a hobby, and your tutorials really make it easier to get my teeth into the programme!
I was wondering how you increased the speed of the energy. I followed the tutorial before this and got quite a slow energy effect, so it doesn't woosh past like yours does and looks a little awful, what with the text distorting and finishing to distort before the whole effect has gone past. Any ideas? Also, noticed the energy was a lot more streamlined. Obviously I'm not looking to copy you directly, but I cannot achieve the end result that you have, and it's kind of annoying!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
