Thanks Andrew, you're the best!

I have a question about a problem i've never experienced before in AE. When i've finished this tut and rendered it to a vid (avi, h264 etc), i only see a black screen...

Never had this before, so waht's wrong?
I've only added the camera to the psd layers in my comp (as in this tut).
Can anyone help me?

Very usefull as always !!! I was experimenting with the mesh warp effect to close the gaps but clone stamp in PS is indd way more effective...

How do you make the camera zoom in in after effects
-after u make a new camera ,u choose the camera tool next to the text tool and use the three mouse buttons(the left,the right and the one between them)to adjust the camera position by clicking and holding 1 of them(depends on what u wanna change)....
how do you set the key frame after you have done what you wanted the camera to do?
-firstly,u gotta click the clock shape next to the property u wanna make a key frame to and then u'll find key frame shape next to the property.click it to set a new key frame

very good tutorial,..just have a question..if you please can tell me how can I save my proyect in after effect, once done,,and best quality,,the thing is that I make pictures slideshow,,using power director,,with music background,,and everything ,,transitions etc,,...
cause I don't know how to export ,or import from power director,...so I can play it on the time line,,and after all my proyect is done in power director ,I burn it on dvd for playback on dvd player

Greetings from Albania. there is no doubts, U are the One. I don't know why my PC, quad core with Nvidia geforce GTS 250 and 4 Gb of ram is a bit slow at AE CS3. so, after trying many times watching your tutorials, I thing to quit with AE.this one tutorial for example, I have done with premiere pro, or freezing time as well. I would like to see a blowing flower effect tutorial, I realised it with particle illusion but there is no option to create a virtual camera, if you have any sugestion for me I would appreciate your help very much. thanx in advance Mere Fizi from Albania (sorry for my English)

Hi Andrew, Reviewing your tutorial for the 3D picture. However, I haven't used AE much and currently I have CS3. I'm having tough time moving the layers onto their Z axis to and fro. Is there something to do with my sys ram? or is it to do with CS3? the layer either stays there or disappears completely when I move it on its Z axis. Please help.

the 3d in this i think looks to much like paper, good but it could be better. By any chance could you do one that's more three dimensional? so that way it wouldn't look like paper at different distances. great tutorial by the way!!

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how to reduce image flicker and aliasing with this technique. I did something using 4 high-res photos of people, but my editor is complaining about all the flickering. He suggests I scale down the pictures in photoshop to a smaller size instead of importing the full-size ones into AE. Does anyone have any thoughts on this issue? Thanks.

Great work on the volcano footage! Nothing but respect here. You have been a great help for me on some visual FX I was stuck on without money to pay a pro to do. Have you thougth about a tutorial on a shatter effect negative so that it looks like the ground is falling out?

Very good tutorial. I'm a senior citizen. I was a Videographer and Editor as well as doing special effects, what w/my unlimited imagination..I can't afford AE, unless you know where I could get it very reasonable. What I did learn from your tutorial is how to do something w/Photo Shop, which I've been trying to learn. I have Photoshop 6. Am I able to do what you did w/my version 6 ? I do have Boris 9 which I'm having a terrible time learning and I can't find anyone or place that even sells a DVD tutorial, not even Boris. Anyway,Regards Dick in MD 410 705-1839 Have a great day.
