What if I want this reversed? Instead of the letters coming from left to right, they come from right to left (going with the same way as the lens flare)

Ken, change the shape from "Ramp Down"(from the tutorial) to "Ramp Up", and instead of animate the offset from 100% to -100%, animate it from -100% to 100% instead.

Andrew Thanks soooooo much for this you saved me with a project that NEEDED an epic intro

I used the bold stripe optical flare from the optical flares plugin from you guys and used an epic looking text and It added a really nice touch

on the very bottom of the compostion there is button that says toggle switches/ modes click it and it will then add the all the modes to the layers you can than change them from normal to add like he did

That was really great, never though that you could create so much with just text animation settings. I now understand a little bit more on how to use Blending and Masking technique to improve appearance of the my animation. Thanks Andrew.

Jeez man, I think this is the easiest tutorial you've done, well out of the ones I tried. It was pretty simple after you remember what to do, but my friends were amazed at what I did. I also spiced the flare up a little by getting Pro Presets 2.

I'm sorry about my poor english...but I really want to tell you how to do, so...XD

If you right-click on the layer name of lens flare, and find the "Blending Mode", then you will see "add" in it.

I hope you'll understand what I'm trying to tell.XD

If you hold down the rectangle tool, you have the option of changing it to an elliptical tool.
