It sucks that you cant scrub through this video, every time I try it just restarts the video. Some one mentioned that downloading the tut would help but it doesn't for me because when I go to extract the zipped folder it tells me that the folder is invalid and will not let me go any further. Can anyone help with this problem?
Either way I will make it work because I love these tutorials, just finished the shatterize one and it turned out really cool, I can't wait to pair it with this energy wipe!

Man. I also have the CS5 like some guys down there, and everyting is diferent right on the beginning. The effect is just to small, dont look NOTHING like Andrew's one. When i use Lens, is vanish and there is NO OPTIONS.

Please, could someone help-me? Tell me what I been doing wrong?

Hey so in cs5 my cc particle effect background is white...makes it really hard to see the particles...anyone know how to change this?...Also cant find the options tab...how do i turn on motion blur??

As I don't have CS5 (still using 32 bit Windows), the only thing I can suggest is putting a black solid behind it, and setting the particle effect layer to screen, so the white background disappears and you can use the solid as a background.

That's odd. It should be in CS4. Try typing in CC Particle World in the effects & presets tab just to check.

an awsome pointer! if you use this method you can use it to create veins that grow on people by keyframing the velocity to 0 at the point you want and then motiontrack it to your actor! =) looks awsome and really grosse =P

Something is wrong with the player. I can skip to what ever part i want or go back to what ever part i want simply by clicking on it in that time line thing on the bottom of the video copilot player in any tutorial except for that one. Whenever I click any where on that time line thing the video just starts from the beginning.

For some reason when I try to jump to a certain part of the clip, the tutorial starts completely over so I have to watch it all over agian. Its really annoing haveing to watch an 18 minute clip 7 times in a row.

First of all, I salute you Mr. Kramer. Feels like I learned AE in just 1 day :D...which I did...

And to all who are STILL complainging about the force motion blur (inculding me for about 10 minutes until I actually looked -_-)

1. Turn on motion blur on your layers.
2. Create an Adjustment Layer (Layer>New>Adjustment Layer)
3. Put it over the layers you want.
5. Effect>Time>CC Motion Blur
4. PLAY WITH THE DAMN SAMPLING AND STOP COMPLAING.

First of all... LOVE your tutorials. You are amazingly talented and to be putting these tutorials up for free is exceptionally generous of you.

I have a question regarding the "Soul Removal" tutorial. I'm using CS5 and the "CC Particle World" layout is a little different. I can't find the "Option" button in order to enable the "Rendering: Motion Blur" and it's kind of essential for this technique to work.

Can you tell me where I can find it?
