Can't you just duplicate the futage layer, make a mask, change the mode to 'Add' and use the Hue/Saturation effect to change the light color?

Andrew always does the most complex version of all the stuff! Instead of using levels just set the blending mode to add!!

So do I need a new adjustment layer for each gunshot I make? Because the masks with change each time.

A much easier way to do this is to just duplicate your base layer and change the mode to add. Then put the duplicated layer on top of your base layer and draw a mask where you want the light to be at.

Hi guys I have a problem
with dragging the gun shot to where I want it.
When I drag the gun shot in the composition with the video it places the gun shot in the beginning of the time line. How do I get it to go to what ever frame I have selected instead of starting at the beginning?

First patting oneself on the back your magnificent Web and your magnificent instruction manuals, you want to ask you about an effect that maybe seems simple but I do not manage to do the truth, the effect comes from little helmet of bullet when a weapon fires a shot, thank you for your help

For certain destiny the text is understood well I do not speak English and I have had to use a translator
