Great tutorial! I'm a beginner who sucks at after effects and this tutorial really helped me understand after effects a little bit better.

Like this tutorial. I have a question. How did you get the lighting effects on the second part of the tutorial? I was looking at the last 2 red solids and they have fx on them. Did you use a ramp on both and then change the transfer mode to get the seamless floor and walls?
