Hey,

the part with the sphere dont work. The Transition works but only for the particles not for the material. Pls help!!!!

they are cubes replicated around a sphere and place on every vertex of the sphere. each of the cubes is facing the normal of the sphere vertices. you can do this in blender using animation nodes or cinema 4d using the mograph tools.

Love the E3D Plug-in. One thing I might suggest for future tutorials, is auto-tracing logos in a new layer for extrusion. Illustrator to create paths and importing into E3D and retaining the original look of the original logo.

Where does the sphere come from at 16:35. I see all the great ways to animate it but where did it come from? Was is a primitive and if so how did it get fractured?

I have a problem. When I rotate the propeler blade from my helicopter model in element it rotates around the center of heli instead of the center of the blade. Any way to fix this?

in the scene set up set the rotor to a separate group. move your offsets so that they are in the center of your rotor. it is a pain in the butt to get centered but that is the only way i know to do it

Can you apply an avi as a texture map like in 3dsMax. I want to use it for medical 3d models and need to fit animated screens on the models. Doesn't seem so to me

Part: Black/Orange Ball

Hey Guys, how i can change the Changing-Colour between the Orange and the Black boxes when it change from Group one to two. In Andrews Example the Color goes from Orange to Red to Black. When I Built this Ball its Orange to White to Black. I Wanne change the White Colour to Red.

Hi,
I own several of your products (Flares, Production Essentials, Presets, Element, Camera Tracker, etc.) Element is a great tool for motion graphic production and I am working the program daily, however, I am seeing drop-outs on renders involving the animation engine (I assume that is the issue). The bevels are disappearing for 1 frame at a time and portions of the text are disappearing for 1 frame intermittently on several renders. I tried only rendering the Element tracks with the same result. I am working on a I Mac with 8 processors and 16 gig of ram with the memory cache setup on the sys drive with 2 processors reserved for the system and 6 for AE. Thanks for the great, continuing work on this. Jeff

For years I dreamed of a plugin like this ... I bought it yesterday afternoon .. My god! what a wonder! I made an animation of typography absolutely sublime in a very short time ... And when I did my preview ... I can not believe it! in HD with motion blurr, depth of field, ... Within minutes I had a professional motiondesign worthy, and very easy to edit ... It's just sick! I see the videos that are emerging on the web at full speed ... You guys have created a breach in the Workflow that's true !! ... The breach that we all expected!!! thanks a lot !!

I personally would like to see a more in-depth from start-to-finish of that disco-ball-like animation. 16 minutes on a adding a texture, & a quick 3 minutes on doing that animation? I find the animation engine to be the most complex part of this plugin.

NO FBX support Will fbx be supoorted in future.. this would be a wonderful addition esp if it reads the animation of the fbx file too!!! could import things like walking people in scen for example;

PLEASE i guess i would even pay for a FBX plugin to element!!

Ive been playing with my entire Elements pack for couple days now and I am still speechless! VCP...you guys have revolutionized Vis FX and made it so accessible to Indie filmmakers such as myself. I cant believe how many TV commercials, Movies etc are using your tools! I see VCP everywhere and its well deserved. The other day on So you think you can Dance they used your Pro Scores "Unstoppable" track for a dance that blew away the audience. Fan for life and student for life! THANKS ANDREW!

Just a quick question: This beautiful Sphere of blocks fading from Black to orange....would this be included in the Motion Design Pack?

I already looked for fracture in Blender, but the fracture-Plugin is not able to split in such elegant blocks. And I'm a bloody 3D beginner

I don't think he used a fractured layer. It looks like he started with a standard cube as the particle type, and set the "replicator shape" to Sphere, to make them arrange in a ball like that.

Forget it.
I looked again at the video and found out, that there are 280 iterations of one object, which is clearly just one simple cube.
