Yeah you don't need the Norris supplements, I think Chuck needs some Andrew Kramer supplements to reach your level of awesomeness. I just got my first job as a video editor and I constantly view your tutorials. I will never cease to be impressed by or thankful for you and what you do.

Your tuts and projects always seem to flow smoothly even while working with some of the heavier projects.
Using a Z800 explains it. But brings up a question: Which Z800 is it?
The 3.06ghz, 3.33ghz, 2.66?
12, 8, or 4 gigs?
May i also inquire as to which graphics card did you elect to use with it?
Lastly - why a prebuilt? Why not build one when going for the high end comp/workstation?
Most know - that when it comes to upgrades - and especially drivers down the line most commercally packaged comps offer zero support and are highly limitiing be it Dell, HP or any other.
As a general rule of thumb, Direct Manufacturer support for their Mother boards - processors and definitly the driver updates etc is far superior.

I think the video could be improved though with the following changes:
A large pool of water should be on the floor.
To give it the Medieval look, dirt or clay should be added to the water for a slightly thick viscosity.
What happens then is that the girls "accidentally" fall into this evil pool of mud.
They then have to grab and hold each other to stop from slipping all the time.
Just a thought.............................

I used to work in film production for 20th Century Fox in Hollywood and currently work at a couple television studios and I can tell you that Mr. Kramer certainly knows his stuff. Somebody asked what is the difference between Andrew and a big Hollywood studio. Well, the answer to that is a several hundred million dollar budget and hundreds of paid employees all working 14 hour days on effect shots. But, the fact that Mr. Kramer is able to pull off top-notch professional footage and effects by utilizing only a Sony F3 (not a Sony F35 or F65) and with only a few effects programs/plug-ins (mainly AE) is truly admirable. Kudos to you Mr. Kramer and keep up the inspiring work! Also, never lose the sarcastic humor - it makes your videos that much more entertaining for viewers!

I have a problem with Camera Tracker.
Everytime i try to fix a groundplane but the axis are not shown correct.
When i import it in 3DS the camera view is not in the right position.
In most cases i have the y-axis facing the top and the z and x axis on the bottom.
I'm sure you can help me.

I started VFX a little while ago. Things were boring at the beginning as I didn't know what I was doing. Because of VC, I have found an even greater interest in VFX. I bought a good pc, a laptop, a cam, some green screen items, Optical Flares + Designer Sound FX, and Pro Scores (from you), and I have watched some good tutorials from your site. You're real good at what you're doing man. You're a blessed person.

Hello Video Copilot! Really enjoyed the vid. Maybe in a future tutorial you could reveal why you chose the reddish background for the iPhone screen (as opposed to green or blue). I would have thought that, it being so close to a skin colour, it would be really hard to key out. Did you roto?

The special effects are fantastic. However, the PC I have seams to stop-an-pause on this video, loading it. Is there something I over looked to do to my pc so I do not get this effect while viewing your stuff. I have 4GB memory,optimized, and defraged my HP Pavilion dv7. I know you have better machines but I should be able to run your video without the pausing. Any ideas what to look at. Same happens with the Vagas program I use.

The glass breaking effect was so amazing. It looked to shiney and crystal like, looking forward to hopefully seeing how to create it.

Really Great! Superb! Thank you for sharing your science! But you have to also to release tha face tracker as a plugin for AE.

So cool. Honestly, I loved the way you guys actually make this look so cool. I love the editing, very cool, the soundtrack, so damn cool(evil cool I might add).
Anyways, can´t wait to see this tutorials, I`m looking forward to see how much 3dmax was used and if after effects you could simulate almost anything.

This is such a complete package... The 'Film', a behind the scenes breakdown, and a HIGHLY polished iPhone app that was actually worth the cash. The presentation of this is first rate, and your professional, and often humourous approach to editing is phenomenal. You, and your team are a significant force in not only the VFX community, but also in online career development, software creation, films, TV, acting, comedy.. There is much more, but my mind is clouded with AWESOME! I won't wish you luck, you don't really need it now!

This is awesome and your tutorials are awesome..but one thing you haven't showed us and i think people including me would like to see is how you changed the footage color and made them look all awesome and stuff..like the difference between the shots in the room and the final shot (color correction) is really great, it looks all dark and bad and just really good

Great Inside Look, what i'm really really couriouse about is how you set up yout 3D Lightning Rendering, (witch render engine etc.) To i'm using C4D and i saw you are using 3ds Max so a tutorial for 3D would be not really helpfull but maybe you cvould give it try.
I'm really looking foreward to see mor about 3D in AE integration combining footgae with CGI.
By the Way i saw "Super8" and it was awesome. I also wathced all the stuff rolling to see yout name on the List (L.A. VFX Depatment)

ur amazing man...u made my life so easy with awesome tutorials.. as a newbie i learned a lot and i thank u for that..i am sure u would work in more Hollywood movie and make great name for yourself (and good money as well)... one of the reasons i watch ur tutorials is that ur not monotonic and serious through out the tutorial like most guys are..ur talented and witty...great combo according to me...hope someday i will become as good as you are...just a small note.. i am masters student and i am making VFX video..i am struggling in making a energy shield..i am sure you are a busy man but any advice or tip is highly appreciated...wishing u all the best for ur future projects...
