What if the person has bloodshot eyes? is there anything that I can do for that? I mean really - the model looked like they were hung-over and the footage is good except the eyes! Unless of course the client wants a zombie look... sigh.

Great Technique!
Just used it for noise reduction on an actors suit we just filmed. But kept the detail in his face and hands.

Hi Andrew
I have a close up shot of a bride with acne and was stressing because it's a good shot and the bride hated it because of the pimple city. This is just what I needed to know, I can't thank you enough!!!!
Your tutorials have been a hundred times more informative and helpful than the 6 months of in class room study I just completed on After Effects.

THANK YOU just doesn't cut it. The knowledge you share so freely is invaluable.
You’re a legend in my book!
Best wishes
Lee

Andrew, what if the area you need to correct is with in the "black" area of the white and black matte? Then what? Since it only adjusts the parts in white? Sorry if this is a dumb question.. new to AE.. thnx

by James Deal 06/07/2008
As always, Andrew Kramer is awesome for doing this for free. And their products are incredible for everyone. Even if you're professionally editing. The only problem I have, is this video doesn't play past like 4 minutes. Ever... What gives?
by mazin 05/28/2008

My HP 8200 has twin dual core Xeons, but GPU rendering is turned off because of the Matrox on-board processor. I don't know if After Effects works with that, though. I might need to switch it back on for AE rendering.
by Alexei Godfried 11/02/2007
to stan, well, my computer weas once running on pentium 4, 3 ghz, 1 gig o ram, and the speed, as you said, is really frustrating. Took me an eternity(obviously) in rendering the frames. but now, im running on amd core duo (or something) processor, 3 gigs of ram, and it works great. The speed improved..(yey!!)
by Stan Arthur 11/01/2007
I'm trying this tutorial for the first time on a HDV clip, 720p 24p, about 18 seconds in length. The effect is absolutely awesome, but the ram preview is taking something like 4 seconds to render a single frame. Is there something I should be doing in the memory & cache settings to speed this up? I'm running an HP 8200, 4 gigs o' ram and a Matrox RT.X2 installed.
