Awesome Works, Andrew
I really think that everyone it´s getting attach to all your tutorials, also from others partners.

Need to ask you a question regarding this tutorial. Let’s say that you have a chessboard and you want that every cube works as a meter for each sound (Bass, Treble) moving Up side Down, also that cubes are 3d, so whit a couples of cams can be see it from any angle.

¿Is this can be done?

Your Truly work-admire,

Igor

Hey, I have a question Andrew.
I'm creating a music video and I want the video to flash and shift (cause I'm aiming for an intense look) at every "strong" beat in the song. Or like strong amount of audio level. And I'm trying to come up with some expression to make that possible.

Let's say when its about 30 audio units then the screen flashes or twists.

- Thanks!
by Arnaldo 06/30/2009

Hey Andrew!
Great tutorial! I was wondering if you have noticed that EA games used the same effect you display here in their new Need for speed: shift teaser? I don't know if you sort of invented the effect or whatever, but I thought it was cool to see it used like that ;)

anyway, here is a link if anyone wants to check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxkqsHf3rGk

Hello,

It would be very helpful to mention we need paid programs to complete the tutorial, so we don't spend an hour following it to realize it was all for nothing. :)

Dude, awesome! I'm a composer and have been wanting to create an animation based on music and this tutorial showed me exactly what I needed to get started.
by creativityfilms 12/26/2008
Videocopilot, your clever video tutorials and products are used by most big companies. Example: I Live in Greece, and two major television networks, MEGA CHANNEL and SKAI TV use your video tutorials and products, MEGA used this tutorial (47. Audio to Animation) to create a neat inro sequence (the video is at this link: http://www.megatv.com/polikatikia/summary.asp?catid=15336

by erik 12/20/2008
hi.. first off.. awesome tutorial..

i was hoping to integrate something like this in something i've got going.. but i can't seem to get particular going.. it keeps telling me about a missing file particular..
ive got aae cs4, could this be the problem?
by brandon 12/19/2008
hey i have a question,
ive been playing with the project file.

is there a way to make the point where the light is coming from not the center but instead an end, like in the light streak demo?

so basically animating a light streak to a path with the addition of animating the light's static path to audio.
by MIcha Sanchez 12/17/2008

by Warren Dunlop 12/13/2008
Andrew,

I'm a huge fan of the tutorials as they are very fun to do, very informative, and produce very professional results. I've used this tutorial for my final term project in my 3D Computer Animation class. I'd love to share it with you as I credited the site for the tutorial.

The effect runs during the credits of "Frustrating Nostalgia," which is about the frustrations of retro gaming:

Hit me with a comment!

Hope everyone enjoys the film, this one took a LONG time.

by Mark 10/16/2008
As usual, that was another superb tutorial. I started learning AFX a few years ago just using a book I found in a discount shop. I made slow but steady progress. In recent years, your tutorials and others like them have helped expand my understanding and uses of the tools available. As one of your older students I now consider myself to have reached the heady levels of "not bad!" Thanks.

A note to other contributors, lets give the word "Awesome" a rest for a while.
