82 RESPONSES TO "ADVANCED SKY REPLACEMENT" by bend 10/14/2009 thanx andrew for tutorialnya... sukses slalu. by mango 10/07/2009 Thanks Andrew. by Sharief 08/20/2009 I'll say it in your words: this is a very powerful tutorial. by Landon Donoho 07/20/2009 hmm. is anyone else having trouble watching this one? All the other tutorials seem to be working alright, but for me this one wont play past ten seconds... by Andy Z 06/10/2009 Great work Andrew. I did a 3 day shoot where we had to replace the sky in almost every shot. I did something very similar to the gradient background you showed in this tutorial. I added a layer with fractal noise to create clouds. This added to the realism and texture to the sky. And I could use the controls of the FN to match pans and tilts which would be hard to do with a flat image. by Draculdud 06/10/2009 Thank you God for giving us a great person named Andrew Kramer and his VideoCopilot.net. by MattA 06/06/2009 If you do not have the "mode, T or TrckMat" in your time time look at the bottom of your screen to the right of "Expand or collapse layer..." and you will see "Toggle Switches / Modes". Hope that helped, it did for me =) by Alisa 06/04/2009 Hello, I'm from Taiwan I very much like your tutorials Thank you. by ssk 05/14/2009 hey friend thx for upload after tutorials.u a my first after effect teacher. by Ad Lenders 04/16/2009 Great tutorial once again! by Garuav Sharma 03/23/2009 Hello Sir, This Is very nice tutorial but i am facing problem of make my shot in colorama pure Black by Gaurav Sharma 03/23/2009 Hello Sir, I have watch this tutorial its looks very nice but here i have a question... you have replaced sky with white sky by Dimitar 03/07/2009 Thx for the tutorial it was very handy for past two weeks while I was doing videos for the elections. Thanks from Macedonia by dlarehg 03/02/2009 anyone can say me why when i choose luma inverted matte, the sky turn black? thx by DJ KADREX 02/09/2009 thank you by jon chambers 02/05/2009 FANTASTIC. You are the best. Love your tutorials. No doubt you are a genius at this work. In the future, could you please consider doing a tutorial on a sky replacement where the camera is panning about 180 degrees across a landscape (way to the left or right), and you have to attach a long new section to the sky / then blend the edge / as the pan continues? You are an inspiration. I wish I had 1/100th of your knowlege. by NIV 12/24/2008 GREAT BUT, What if U doing it on a "snow shot" [OR ANY OTHER PROBLEMATIC COLOR] ? by xuli 12/14/2008 hi,great tutorial ,thank a lot from china,it is useful to me .good luck. by obeko 11/27/2008 hi, andrew, great tutorial, only im having a problem, when im keying out the skye and you choose luma inverted matte, the sky should turn transparent, well mine goes black and i am following your every move, by reto 11/26/2008 It isn't working atm!
