Initially, the file was a 3d file I am sure. But the file that Andrew provided is a *mov file which is a quicktime movie. Import as you would any other footage.

Andrew thank you so much for your tutorials! I went out an bought an HD cam, green screen and made a video production campaign for my self owned company for my burg/fire alarm business and with all the effects and tricks I produced an unbelievable and a unique intro plus product how to and my customers ask where I had it done..:) When I tell them I did it myself they were shocked and I referred to the ones who want to try for themselves to your site and try tutorials. Luckily I have been working with Sony Vegas, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator etc..for years so picking it up in AE isn't bad and you made the transition simple! Can't thank you enough Andrew!

Thank you so much for making these tutorials. I don't think you realize how much direction and drive you've given me in my studies and my future career. I'm only now starting to get the hand of AE by using the labs at my local university, but I'm already looking forward to purchasing my very own production suite (complete with VC products and plugins).

I learn so much from your tutorials, I actually recently quit the film/video production program at my school so I could focus my creative, visual energies towards learning from you and other designers who publish tuts online (guess that doesn't say much positive about my university's program...)

This time, and the time that you made the TNT logo tutorial (ring) the art producers should be crazy. They take a month thinking and doing that, and you made them in less than a hour, and explaining.

You're awesome, and when I have a VISA credit card, that is the only way to buy from brazil I will buy Optical Flares, Twitch and the sound effects, that don't have tutorials! You're the man for those who are new to this way. Those that thinked this thing is just for privilegiated people, and now are doing this for fun at home!

I just gotta say Andrew you can do some awesome stuff. I watch your tutorials over and over again until it sinks in. I'm so glad I found your site, I finally got your plugin for the lightsaber to work for me and I made a cool little 7 sec. video of my daughter with lightning coming out of her hands and her cousin swinging the lightsaber to block it. Well I gotta say thanks and keep the tutorials coming. By the way when are you coming out some more new ones.

My Name is Mutale Chileshe from Zambia, Africa. I want to build a film studio right here, so a few tutorials that I have watched have really really help me and encouraged me to continue with my dream of creating one of those holly video in Zambia.

Hey Andrew, just wanted to let you know that this tutorial saved my life. Not only did I use the 3D offset to control several hundred notes in a Guitar Hero parody, but the tip about changing hue and saturation based on certain colors came in handy too. Keep up the Ausum work.

Is there a way to direct download? I watch a few minutes and the player will hang, and have to refresh the whole video only to have it hang somewhere else again..
