I had tried to copied and pasted the preset into the folder. Even after I restarted my after effect, it can't detect in CS5. Any solution?

Andrew Whats up , I´m having problems with the presets instalation, a message pops up telling me an error has ocurred , and that the file im trying to install has an extention that isnt compatible with the software. I have AE cs4 for MAC.

whenever i add at the TX1 the 1st name the null objects appears to be placing the text right at the beginning not in the middle like yours and this is for all of the texts, how can i make sure it stays on the middle????

Hey guys, to have more than 10 targets you just need to Ctrl D on the last target (T-10) inside the effects window.

Just a heads up for anyone using the preset--make sure you use the correct language. I had a bug in mine and figured out it's because I had chosen the French version.

Hi Andrew, as always very good tutorial. I was trying to prepare something with this preset, but it gives me an error. I checked out the forum and I see I'm not the only one. I Know you don't have much time, but as I see it appears to be an error in the preset when you install it in Ae. I don't Know if you could help...

hey when i make the text, the bottom left corner of the text is in the middle...(so the text is off to the right)

Wow very, very nice tutorial i really love the sureTarget preset but...i have a problem at the start of the animation, the text jumps, it's a stranger movement, hope you can give me a troubleshot.

Hey Andrew, dude, your tutorial rock man..
but please... please... fix Sure Target 1.5.1 preset. It may work ok for CS3, but it doesn't work properly for CS4. I'm good at following instructions, in fact, I'm a teacher at many things.. any way, the Sure Target 1.5.1 preset, when running the composition, it jitters at the very beginning.

Seems to be a bug with mac with suretarget. When I choose an layer in "suretarget" effectcontrol the animation presets change to none. So all I get is some jitter or blinking of the text when doing the keyframing.

Love your stuff. I learned more from you then Professors in my college. enough that I dont take classes anymore and just watch your stuff. you keep things entertaining. You dont know how much i appreciate your stuff. I have told plenty of people about this site and your creations. I was wondering, can i use one of your projects to do a on the fly animation for a wedding I m editing. just for the intro, because this tutorial rocks and i like everything u did, just thinking i can replace the wording. I'll also give videocopilot a plug at the end. lemme know!

hey, i download this preset sure target but im getting an error message saying cant import file "sureTarget 1.5.1 ffx" unsupported filetype or extension. is there something i didn't do? i move the file to my presets but i couldnt locate it in after effects

Once discovering the program After Effects and it's potential it has to design and create amazing effects I wanted to put my time into learning the program inside out. Before I began class that focused only on basic After Effects, I had spent my reading week self-teaching my self from books and forums online. There was a link on a forum to your site, after watching a few tutorials I knew for sure I wanted to master the program. By watching your tutorials and doing trial and error over and over again I can say I'm pretty confident in the program. By spending a week watching your tutorials I had learned more then my 3 month class. I look forward to seeing new tutorials on the website, its something I enjoy watching and it improves my skills at after effects after every tutorial. really good BUT I have a spanish After Effects and it keeps giving me an Error (SureTarget) and I have isntalled the Spanish version of the Presets...
I found out what is the error, so anyone else can fix it really easy. Is the word "verificación" (right), which is writen as verificaciÚn (wrong).
Just go in any text editor and search en repalce it for the right one "verificación"... all of them, because the are many...
Now it works fine...

Hi Andrew!
BIG THANKS but I think there is an error in the german version.
Only the AutoRotate for the z-axis is added by SureTaget 1.5.1, if I want to auto rotate the other two axis I have to put it manually to the ExpressionField.
Maybe it's my mistake, I'm not sure.
I've done it like you in your tutorial.

So does that meen that, say I use it in a Youtube Vid for like to make a fancy title or intro, that I can't upload it? Or does that only apply if you plan to like sell a vid that uses the preset?
