Conflict between camera & E3D

Postby martycg on 11/1/2018, 10:29 am

Trying to make a large background (plane model), but when I tilt my camera over like in the image attached my background plane is cut off by the comp background color. The larger I make the plane the more cut off it is, if I scale up the plane it doesn't show more of it - it's just cut off so it's unable to fill the screen unless I tilt the camera less.

What is going wrong? Aren't I able to tilt and show an infinity amount of space - if I made the plane extremely large?

it looks like you have another layer either in element or in the comp that is 3d and messing up...if thats not the case, then make your plane smaller, just zoom in farther...element does not work as well in super small scales or super large scales...even if everything else is relative..

Thanks, yeah it looks like something is blocking it, but there are no other objects in the scene. So, I guess I'll have to zoom everything in.

Hello martycg,

use for 'Camera Far Plane' a higher value.
E3D >>Render Settings >>Camera Cut-off >>Camera Far Plane
