Problem with Saber and Transparent Background

Postby scheak80 on 09/4/2016, 5:47 pm

Hello,

I'm using Saber to add a lightning effect to an Element 3D layer. I did this all in a pre-comp and then added that to my main comp. However, when I turn the glow up I can see the bounding box for the pre-comp/saber layer.

Here are pictures of my main comp timeline and my pre-comp timeline

Thanks in advance!

You should increase the size of the precomp if you want the glow to be larger than your current precomp area.

If you want to fade it out at the edges, you can use a feathered mask or curve the alpha channel, although both methods essentially conflict with increasing the glow radius.
