Hi,
You plan to create a rendering engine based 3D element for Cinema 4D ?

Best regard,

Not exactly sure what you're asking but I doubt they are they creating a rendering system as there are tons of render systems for cinema including vray and octane, with the later running on gpu instead of cpu

I do agree with the sentiment, though, I would friggin love a game engine type renderer - or even better, a hybrid (*). Though you could use Fusion for that as it imports alembic, so export your cam + geo to alembic, import them into Fusion, texture, shade, light and render it with Fusions OGL, it'll match up perfectly with a render out of your 3D app.

Edit: (*) And I don't work in C4D, so I mean generally, like VRay or Arnold with plugins for the more popular DCC's.
