Optical Flares (AE) OpenGL issue?

Postby bjoern on 11/16/2015, 4:55 am

Hi,

I had no problems with Optical Flares until three days ago. But suddenly the effect is incorrectly positioned on my PC. On another PC the flare looks as great as ever. The x position is some hundred pixels left to the place specified in the effect panel.
The error is corrected when I turn off using GPU in the Optical Flares options. But I would like to use GPU. What's wrong? According to your support pages my system meets the requirements:

Build: Optical Flares x64 1.3.3 (146)
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit 6.1.7601
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU W3550 @ 3.07GHz
RAM: 24559MB
GPU Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
GPU: Quadro FX 3800/PCIe/SSE2
GPU Driver: 9.18.13.4144
GPU Status: Disabled
GPU Code: -1

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,
Björn

One thing to try may be to update your GPU drivers:
